Pleasant stay
It was on a busy little street which might be daunting to walk on for some. The staff are really sweet. Our room was plenty big. And felt lovely and clean. Pool was warm. The only con to the rooms, I’d say is that the tv didn’t work (despite several calls to have it repaired) and the cosmetics are low standard; you expect nicer oily shampoos / shower gel etc in a place like Marrakesh. A lot nicer.
There is a man who seems to hover at breakfast time. Is it the owner? He doesn’t help the staff but rather lingers and it’s a bit odd really :)

Ahmed was the perfect host! The room was clean and comfortable. The riad is close by the soups. Walking distance to many things.

En perfekt plass for varme dager i Marrakesh
Dette var familiens første besøk til Marokko. Vi valgte Riad Palais Blanc fordi andre gjester hadde beskrevet det som en rolig og fin plass til tross for at det lå sentralt med myldrende liv utenfor. Det viste seg å stemme, det var nydelig å kunne trekke seg tilbake på hotellet når vi enten trengte å få en pause fra varmen eller alle inntrykkene vi fikk når vi var rundt i Marrakesh.
Daglig leder , Ahmed, sikret utmerket service, og øvrige personale var vennlige og hjelpsomme. Rommene og uteområdet sto til forventningen, og det var rent og ryddig overalt.
Det var stort sett andre voksne par som bodde der mens vi var der, men også våre tenåringer trivdes godt på dette hotellet (blant annet grunnet god tilgang på WI-FI ;)).
Vi ankom midt i en hetebølge, hvor gradestokken var oppe i 48 grader, så vi var også veldig takknemlige for svømmebassenget og at airconditionen fungerte utmerket.
Hotellet lå i et vennligsinnet nabolag, med gode restauranter rett i nærheten og kort vei til det tradisjonelle soukområdet.
Vi følte oss godt ivaretatt hele denne uken vi var i Marrakesh, og ser ikke i bort fra at vi vender tilbake hit senere.

You show up expecting to see a beautiful place from their pictures, and instead are in complete shock at the pure filth and disgust of this place. See the recent pictures taken of Riad Palais Blanc attached and understand that you shouldn't ruin your trip to Marrakech like I did by booking here. They will not refund your money, so just do yourself a huge favor and don't book here.

Le Riad Palais Blanc privilégie les réservations directes et via Booking au détriment des réservations via des agences online comme VeryChic ou Voyage Privé. En effet, nous avons été 2 couples délogés du Palais Blanc pour le Riad Omri (aux prestations équivalentes, avec un service irréprochable et un personnel bienveillant). En discutant, nous nous sommes aperçus que nous avions respectivement réservé avec les deux agences citées plus haut et avons eu droit au même discours douteux de la part du Palais Blanc qui dit qu’ils auraient envoyé un mail aux agences alors que moi-même j’avais échangé par mail avec eux 2 jours avant pour réserver un service de transfert aéroport/riad et lorsqu’ils m’ont demandé la référence de ma réservation je n’ai plus eu de réponses. Ils sont donc menteurs et malhonnêtes. Il y a tellement de beaux riads et hôtels à Marrakech avec des équipes d’une gentillesse profonde et sincère, quand on cherche un peu...

Le site vante un Riad de charme... Effectivement l'endroit est tres agréable, cependant les prestations auxquelles on est en droit de s'attendre ne sont hélas pas là.... Pas de parking à proximité (complet malgré une reservation de place) Restaurant fermé le lundi ( non précisé sur le site..) pas de douchette à main dans la douche.. (pas très pratique pour les femmes car pas de bonnet de douche non plus..) des peignoirs mais pas de draps de bain, pas de verres à dent, pas de mini bar, literie très très ferme, etc...etc.. Rapport qualité prix vraiment décevant. Nous déconseillons cet établissement.

Je confirme un avis déjà émis sur ce site concernant les réservations via les agences en ligne. Nous avons réservé et payé un weekend via voyages privés. La veille de notre arrivée, nous avons été prévenu que l'hôtel était complet. Nous avons été reversés sur un autre riad moins bien situé. Si la palais blanc à des difficultés à travailler avec les agences en ligne, ou si les agences ont du mal à travailler avec cet hôtel, qu'ils n'en fassent pas subir les conséquences aux clients.
