Room were spotless and the terrace is one of the biggest I have had - day bed, table & chairs and a console. The wee things like the candles lit on our terrace at night just added that extra touch. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Ahmed was always checking where you were going for dinner and if you had not received a confirmation, phones up and checked. Staff just knew which room everyone was staying in and if you were lazing by the pool would just come over and sky for your key so they could go in and clean your room. If you ordered food, would be delivered to your terrace and they would come and get you from the pool. Great location right in the centre of the city. Walkable to most locations or taxis right on your doorstep - a lot of places are not easy to find if down an alley and GPS not great in these tiny wee lanes!!! Def a hotel I would recommend to friends and family and hopefully get back myself too. The hotel does not serve or sell alcohol as with many restaurants or cafes. There are places you can buy as we stumbled across 1 but not that many. Or take duty free with you is you want to sit on your terrace of a night and have a wee drink.

Do not be fooled by the photos, this place is shabby to say the least, rundown , rooms musky , breakfast poor, very basic , staff very unhelpful and rude, had money stolen from safe , and it’s in an alleyway that has a poor dog tied up in chains day and night , the pool area is also in disrepair and the pool has broken tiles , I did not use the pool. Please do not waste your money this is a 2 star Riad at best.

From our pick up at the Airport to our drop off, everything to do with this Riad was beyond excellent. The rooms are huge, extremely comfortable and beautiful. The staff go beyond expectations with every request. Nothing is too much trouble. They will book all excursions for you. Breakfast is a veritable feast. Lunch and dinner are amazing too. I honestly can’t think of a single negative about this stunning Riad. Highly recommended. Our second visit. Close to the souk but you would never know once settled into the bliss of seclusion x

Very comfortable and spacious room. Great Breakfast. A huge variety of choices. Abdulah was very prestative and he keeps everything tidy and clean. The girls prepare delicious crêpes, scrambled eggs as well as some other typical food. Ahmed at the reception was very keen on helping us to find good restaurants and places to visit, how to get tickets etc. Girls at the SPA make a very relaxing massage after a hammam bath with black soap, exfoliation, use of clay and oils to smooth and regenerate the skin. A fantastic experience. I definitely recommend it. Lamya supervises everything and makes sure that every guest feels at home and makes the most of their stay at Riad Palais Blanc. Her restaurant suggestions were superb.

My wife and I have just returned from a memorable holiday in Marrakech. Having spent my entire working life as a national newspaper journalist travelling the world and staying in some of the best 5* hotels, I can honestly say the Riad Palais Blanc is up there with the best. A lovely hotel in a very central location. All the staff were extraordinarily caring and nothing was too much trouble. We were celebrating my birthday and all the staff came together to sing 'Happy Birthday' in three languages along with a birthday cake! I have no hesitation in recommending this delightful hotel which I am already booking again for next year.

The Palais Blanc Riad is a beautiful hotel in the Medina of Marrakesh. We stayed in a lovely suite, with a big terrace by the amazing pool. Breakfasts at the hotel were delicious. The staff are all friendly and helpful, with one exception. Ashraf the receptionist lied about booking our return airport transfer, charged us the premium rate ( which was reasonable for the arrival - a big private SUV), and proceeded, in a panic to flag down a street taxi, with no seat belts, limited luggage space, and a random front seat passenger. I would complain directly, but the contact email is administered by him. A really disappointing end to a lovely stay - I probably would not go back again, with him there. It would have been a five-star review if not for him.

Marakech: A NIGHTMARE The nightmare already begins with the small access road to the structure, dirt in every corner, blankets of homeless people who live there, smells and dog excrement! We enter the structure and the surprises continue! Rooms full of dust in the wardrobes and everywhere, impossible to put anything down, let alone sleep in it! We protested to the owners of the structure who initially even denied the evidence. They invite us to come out, assuring us that they would have done a deep cleaning. We return after dinner and they are waiting for us to inspect the rooms. They finally cleaned but, unfortunately, the rooms are still unlivable due to an absurd level of humidity. I finally end my stay after 5 nightmare days with the last breakfast in which all the fruit was cut on a cutting board where onion was certainly cut first... Definitely a new taste! All for the modest sum of €350/day……. We were a group of 12 people, all angry and above all regretful at the outcome of a long-awaited trip

We stayed for 8 nights with my husband and 9 month old baby. The service was IRREPROACHABLE. The welcome was very warm. The requests made beforehand were taken into account, in particular the baby bed equipment which, by the way, was very comfortable. The room cleaning service was perfect, a minimum passage every day, towels and shower mats changed, beds made and the floor cleaned. The breakfast buffet is very complete and to everyone's taste. The accompanying birdsong is very pleasant. The staff is always attentive and ready to respond to requests. The swimming pool is heated. A glass of tea and a pastry when we return to our room. Proximity to the city, 15 minutes walk from Jamaa el Fna square. Two streets from the souk on foot. The establishment is a true haven of peace. A big thank you to Ahmed, Abdou, Abdellah, Lamia… and all of you who made our first family vacation an unforgettable memory. S, J & Ayna

I have just spent, together with my mother, my aunt and my daughter, an unforgettable week at the Palais Blanc in Marrakech. The day after arriving we already felt at home, thanks to the charm of the place and the warmth of the staff. It is a typical riad with the rooms arranged around a courtyard of mandarin trees with a pool in which my daughter has splashed wonderfully on the hottest days. It is a very intimate atmosphere because there are few rooms, and there is tranquility. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable (the mattresses are also very comfortable). The rooms we stayed in, located on the ground floor, have a terrace overlooking the pool provided with a table and chairs and a large sofa where we read, rested and had tea. Abdullah, who runs the dining room, has been very patient with us in general and has served us dinner there when we arrived late after visiting the city. The day we arrived at the riad, already at night, he had prepared some exquisite stuffed puff pastries and a tagine for us on the covered terrace upstairs, where all meals are normally served. Breakfast is also very good and very complete, with freshly made pancakes and homemade cakes and a delicious egg and mushroom omelet that we have ordered daily, but also toast, fresh juices, homemade cake, a variety of fruit, salads, delicious olives and sausages . The hotel manager, Ahmed, has taken care of us at all times, and has organized personalized outings to our liking with friendly and professional tour guides, who have accompanied us on several routes around the city, and also on very interesting getaways to the valley of Ourika and the waterfalls in Setti Fatma, as well as the Kik Plateau and the Agafay Desert, spectacular places that I would not like to have missed. When my daughter and I wanted to have dinner but the kitchen was already closed because it was night, Lely, Ahmed's right hand, personally accompanied me to a restaurant to make me feel comfortable. When my aunt was sore after long days in the city, the owner, Lamia, offered her a full body massage which helped her a lot. The night before our departure he surprised us with some typical walnut-based chocolates—delicious! Dunia and Nassera, who clean the establishment daily, always have a good word and a smile. Abdullah of Dakhar is also solicitous and courteous. The Palais Blanc is perfectly located in the center of the Medina, which has allowed us to take walks on foot through the old area and walk to Jemaa el Fnaa to see the sunset on the terrace of the Café de France. On other occasions, Ahmed provided us with transportation by tuc-tuc or taxi. I could go on and give more details, but perhaps it would be better to just say that we want to return to Marrakech and that the Palais Blanc will be the place where my family will stay. Until next time, and a thousand v
