The boss is handsome and kind, the hotel is clean and tidy, but don't go back to the hotel too late. We were targeted by a few hooligans who told us not to follow the map. We ignored them and it was fine during the day.

The host was very nice and gave us local attractions and food on Google. The city walk was too slow and we missed the Grand Palace! Breakfast the next day was also very good.

We wanted to get a more local feel to our four night trip to Marrakesh, so opted to stay within the Medina in a riad rather than a hotel. We are pleased that we chose the Riad Azrur for our stay. Ibrahim, who manages the riad on a day to day basis was a great host and a source of information. We were contacted before leaving home, to see if there was any requests. I got him to arrange transport from the airport, which although more expensive than getting a taxi ourselves, added peace of mind as the riad isn't accessible to cars. Ibrahim helped us download and install the Maps.me app which has offline maps of Marrakesh (so I didn't need to have purchased the extra data that I did for my phone to use in Morocco!) We were in the room Bab Aylan. The room is en-suite and the bedroom is air conditioned. There is a safe in the room for your personal belongings. There's no TV in the bedroom, but there is one available in the common area off the courtyard. The bedroom window faced the wall on the other side of the alley, but let in enough light and didn't feel obtrusive. The one downside was that the shower would run hot and cold, but wasn't a problem once you got used to it. The private roof terrace has 4 sunbeds and two seating areas and an outdoor shower. Also on this floor is a massage room and indoor toilet and shower. Breakfast consisted of pancakes, bread, tea, fresh orange juice and a cooked omelette (if wanted). The riad was within 30 minutes walk of all the major sights, many of which required walking through the souks (so the mapping app proved essential to avoid getting lost and worked very well offline). Ibrahim arranged for our transport back to the airport and it was nice of him to also send us a message after we got home, hoping we had a safe trip. I highly recommend this riad for a relaxing home from home experience.

Fue una experiencia inolvidable. Sin duda si vuelvo será en este Riad…. Ibrahim es un encanto de persona y muy pendiente en todo momento.. el hotel es típico de marraquech. En pleno centro de la ciudad y cerca del zoco.. donde todas las tiendas

Io e il mio compagno ci siamo regalati una notte nella suite familiare di questo bellissimo Riad per terminare il nostro viaggio in Marocco. Ottima l’attenzione ai dettagli, l’accoglienza, i servizi, la pulizia della camera. Letto comodissimo e presenza di ogni comfort nel bagno. Ben curati gli spazi comuni. Posizione del Riad strategica. Molto apprezzato il the marocchino con biscottini di benvenuto offerti, colazione semplice ma molto buona. Un luogo di pace dove ricaricarsi! Un plauso a Ibrahim molto attento e disponibile, ha saputo darci i giusti consigli per la nostra vacanza ed è stato così gentile da venirci a prendere direttamente nei vicoli della Medina. Un vero peccato avere avuto solo una notte… da ritornarci!

Abbiamo allogiato nel riad per qualche giorno a Maggio io ed il mio ragazzo. Ibrahim ci ha accolto nel migliore dei modi dandoci da subito modo di conoscere l'accoglienza che caratterizza il popolo marocchino. La stanza era molto caratteristica e pulita, con luci soffuse e bagnoschiuma all'argan. La colazione con spremuta di arance, latte, caffè, thè e il tipico pane del posto. Sicuramente consigliato.
