Great location. Gardens, Poolside, Lobby but disappointed rooms. Very old , stinky, uncomfortable rooms. Rooms needs immediate new and modern updates. Have changed the room three times. With this room’s condition price is on higher side. Customer service is good though.

Amazing location and service. I will repeat again. The staff is super nice.

Super Service

If I could leave 0 stars I would. My experience at this hotel was HORRIBLE, DISGUSTING and left me very disappointed by their lack of response for the following reasons. 1. UNNECESSARILY LONG CHECK IN: At check in the person at the front desk was talking to either a friend or family member for 10 - 15 mins. She wouldn’t make eye contact with me and apparently she was the only person doing check in at the time. She stepped away from the counter again and then someone else finally checked me in. 2. SUITCASES LEFT IN FOYER FOR HOURS: Our suitcases were taken from us when we entered the hotel, but they weren’t brought to our rooms. They were left on a cart in the foyer and I noticed after we came back from lunch, 2 hours later they were still on the cart in the foyer. I had to point it out to staff that our luggage was left alone before anyone did anything. 3. STAFF ENTERED THE ROOM WHILE I WAS CHANGING: I was changing and a staff member knocked on my door. I asked for them to wait and they still opened the door. Absolutely unacceptable and this kicked off my all my complaints with this “5 star” hotel. I spoke to the duty manager and they offered to send me orange juice which, never arrived and they’d comp my breakfast. I was completely fine with this until the morning of my departure. 4. BLACK RESIDUE ON TOWEL, QUESTIONABLE IF THEY CHANGE LINENS: In the morning of my departure I was washing my face and noticed the towel had BLACK MARKS all over it, absolutely disgusting. Photo is attached. This makes me really wonder if any of the linen was actually changed before I came. I was so disgusted and frustrated with the black residue touching my face and the thought of sleeping in used linens I left without having breakfast because I just wanted to leave. Minimal additional issues the plugs by the bed didn’t work and the TV had 2 squiggly lines through it. I complained directly with the hotel for all of the above and also raised that I left my wireless earbuds in the room, and they said they’d get back to me. I waited 5 hours to follow up and they still said they’d get back to me for both my earbuds and my complaints. I elevated to Marriott Bonvoy by email and they responded to me the next day. I STILL have not heard back from Le Meridien except that they could not find my wireless earbuds. I’ve never had such a horrible hotel experience. I highly recommend to stay anywhere else but this joke of a 5 star hotel.

I stayed here in early May. The hotel is very spacious and rooms are relatively bigger. The swimming pool and lawns / gardens are well maintained. The buffet breakfast has good options. During my stay, one wing of the hotel was under renovation. Hence, during the daytime I could hear a lot of construction noise. This I am sure is temporary. The staff in general could be more receptive / attentive. The only exception I found was Fouzia from the guest relations team. She was very helpful and gave me good recommendations of thing to do and also helped me book a few tours.
