Riad Anabel

Just recently stayed for 4 nights with my partner. It was truly a 5 star experience ✨️ We were greeted by wonderful friendly staff serving tea and biscuits and were able to check in to our room early. The room was beautiful and every amenity you could ask for. Riad Anabel is as described in other reviews, an oasis of calm but just 5 mins from the Medina. Due to the heat we made use of the sunbeds on the beautiful terrace every day . The breakfast which was varied every morning set us up for the day. The staff were amazing and kindly arranged transfers and even printed off boarding passes for us. I have already recommended to friends and family and will definitely be back!! This oasis of peaceful calm was the favourite part of our visit to Marrakech. I can't recommend it highly enough and it is superb value for money. We stayed on the top floor in the Bougainvillier room which was air conditioned with a very comfortable bed and mattress, fridge and coffee machine. Showergel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion all provided and smelling gorgeous. The traditional and beautiful decor was just what we wanted from our trip. The riad has a small but stunning roof terrace where delicous homemade breakfasts were served (fresh breads, preserves, juice, tagine eggs, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, coffee, orange cake). We sunbathed up there on the afternoons following a busy day of sightseeing, it was bliss. Even the freezing cold pool was welcome as it was really hot when we were there. The staff are just lovely and we had helpful advice on where to go and what to do. The place smells deliciously of orange blossom and it is right in the heart of the medina - although you wouldn't know this as it is very quiet apart from the birdsong. You can walk to all the major attractions, the main square, restaurants and souks. Taxis are just an easy 2 min walk away if you do want one. We booked a cab via the riad before we arrived to pick us up from the airport and someone put our luggage in a cart and carried it through the passageways to the hotel. This was very helpful on arrival as we had no clue what we were doing! On the way home we easily walked to the taxi rank and found one ourselves - they are around all the time. Riad Anabel is run by Habiba and Fouad and they do an amazing job. Fouad even managed to get us reservations at a nearby rooftop restaurant when they were fully booked and reprinted our boarding passes which I managed to misplace.

What a fabulous place! Everything was just perfect. Everyone was so attentive and friendly. A special mention must go to Fouad. His approach to everything was calm but attentive. The riad is absolutely as oasis of calm. The rooms have everything you could possibly need and more. Breakfasts are served on the roof terrace. And they are amazing! Do book thr hamman. Gorgeous Riad in really convenient location at heart of Old Marrakech. Beautiful, peaceful, with very friendly staff and amazing breakfasts on the rood terrace underneath the flowers. Room big and comfortable, that had everything in we needed. Would stay again.
