Honestly the only good thing about this hotel was that the staff fed the cats and puppies ( before the puppies were locked out of the hotel) so if you’re not an animal lover you won’t like the hotel. On arrival we requested ground floor, was put on third floor, which happened to the be the highest, and told us to leave the buggy at reception. We were in block 500, which is too far for an 18 month to walk at least 5 times a day. Changed to ground floor. TV, phone, shower and wifi didn’t work. Requested for it to be fixed, told to wait in room. Waited 4 hours and nothing. Lovely first day…not! Changed rooms on day 2 and again the TV and phone didn’t work. Paid the deposit for the kettle so we could make our daughters bottle and was told they would bring it to the room. We thought they meant that day…no they meant 3 days after paying the deposit. All the entertainment was in French. ALL OF IT! One day they said ‘ tonight it is English night from 7pm’ so we got down for 7pm. They played a 10 minute game in English, then the rest was French. We were asked to move tables at dinner in the middle of our food, as it was apparently for the workers, even though the sign said child’s corner, and there were 3 other families there. We were the only ones asked to move, we didn’t. We had plastic In the food. The food was cold and they knew about this as they provided a microwave to heat the food up. The alcohol IS watered down. Asked for a shot of whiskey in a glass. It’s normally brown, but this was yellow. Asked them to open a new bottle in front of me and give me another one and it was magically brown. We usually spend about £150 in tips for the week when we go away. We spent £5 for the entire week in tips. Staff weren’t helpful at all. Can’t change money up as the reception didn’t have enough. Tried changing £10 up and they gave us £1 English coin, €3 euros and the rest in Dirham. Had a Cash machine, but of course it didn’t work. The lady in the photo( didn’t get her name) was brilliant! Always dancing with my daughter and talking to her. Honestly couldn’t wait to get back home
