The Oberoi Marrakech

As very seasoned travelers, my family and I enjoy exploring the most amazing resorts and hotels around the world, which we look at with a very discriminating eye. For the Oberoi Marrakesh, it is truly difficult to find fault. The hotel, relatively new, is simply stunning with the impressive lobby and villas, as well as expansive gardens with 2700 olive trees. The acting General Manager Mamdouh is the perfect and consummate hotelier, ever present checking everything non-stop, to ensure the guest experience is nothing less than 5-stars. Jalal from their F&B outlet surprised us with an entire loaf of lemon cake to take back to London that was not available on two breakfasts which we sore missed after our first breakfast. El Habib is an amazing server ready to grant you at least three wishes with his magic lamp! Khalid the Duty Manager also asks non-stop how they can improve a service that is already par excellence. Our hats off to the amazing pastry chef who makes baked goods that rival the best Parisian patisserie. I saw the two staff who cleaned every machine in the fitness center using four sprays leaving neither dust nor germ —- they focus on the minutest detail. The whole team is just extremely well-trained and professional and very committed in their desire to exceed your expectations. The synchronization of their efforts, in the most natural and sincere manner, always with big smiles, translates to nothing less than less than a truly memorable experience. They know how to make you feel like Arab royalty! We will certainly be back!!! Thank you so much to all of you!!! Shukran! If you want that “palace in the middle of the oasis experience” in Marrakesh, you will not get it any better than at the Oberoi!

The Oberoi Marrakech is a truly wonderful hotel, we’ve been fortunate to travel to many hotels in the world but this hotel stands out from the rest. Our room was large and spacious with a very comfortable bed, sofa and dining table, walk-in closet area and a beautiful bathroom with double vanity units and a huge shower. The room was kept spotlessly clean with fresh fruit and water replenished each day. The private pool and large terrace area was amazing, it captured the sun all day but there was a large parasol and separate table and chairs for sitting in the shade. The food has been very good with plenty of choices at breakfast and for the evening meals. The staff have been exceptionally friendly and worked very hard to make sure our stay here was enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The Oberoi, Marrakech is a slice of paradise in the heart of the city. Beautiful hotel and grounds. Great rooms, spacious luxurious and quiet. Spa and fitness space excellent. If you are vegetarians, make sure you mention it on arrival. They created a whole vegetarian menu just for us!

This hotel is truly a wonder - it so incredibly beautiful and the attention to detail is amazing. It has the most spectacular views over the Atlas mountains and you really feel like you have been transported into another world. They have a beautiful terrace to sit and enjoy your meals and drinks. Staff are of course very attentive and friendly. The poolside villa we stayed in was just wow. Absolutely breathtaking with our own private pool that you can step out to via the bedroom or the shower. The spa facilities were also really wonderful, with a gorgeous indoor swimming pool. I really enjoyed our stay and would love to go back some day.

I have never left a review, but felt compelled to. The Oberoi was an amazing experience! The best part was the attentiveness of the staff -- they were incredibly welcoming and kind. The hotel is beautiful, luxurious, and expansive. It was quiet in a good way, a nice reprieve from the hustle of the rest of the city. We participated in 2 excursions through the hotel and they were very organized and top notch experiences. The Agafay desert excursion was a highlight. I have already recommended this hotel to friends and family traveling to Marrakech. I would definitely go back to this hotel the next time I am in Marrakech.

I visited the Oberoi, Marrakesh with my 80 year old parents and my 17 year old son. We were blown away by the opulence, luxury, attention to detail, beautiful gardens, but above all the service. I have travelled extensively and stayed in many 5 star hotels including Oberoi hotels on a recent India trip, but the service at The Oberoi Marrakesh is out of this world. We were treated like royalty.
