The Oberoi Marrakech

As very seasoned travelers, my family and I enjoy exploring the most amazing resorts and hotels around the world, which we look at with a very discriminating eye. For the Oberoi Marrakesh, it is truly difficult to find fault. The hotel, relatively new, is simply stunning with the impressive lobby and villas, as well as expansive gardens with 2700 olive trees. The acting General Manager Mamdouh is the perfect and consummate hotelier, ever present checking everything non-stop, to ensure the guest experience is nothing less than 5-stars. Jalal from their F&B outlet surprised us with an entire loaf of lemon cake to take back to London that was not available on two breakfasts which we sore missed after our first breakfast. El Habib is an amazing server ready to grant you at least three wishes with his magic lamp! Khalid the Duty Manager also asks non-stop how they can improve a service that is already par excellence. Our hats off to the amazing pastry chef who makes baked goods that rival the best Parisian patisserie. I saw the two staff who cleaned every machine in the fitness center using four sprays leaving neither dust nor germ —- they focus on the minutest detail. The whole team is just extremely well-trained and professional and very committed in their desire to exceed your expectations. The synchronization of their efforts, in the most natural and sincere manner, always with big smiles, translates to nothing less than less than a truly memorable experience. They know how to make you feel like Arab royalty! We will certainly be back!!! Thank you so much to all of you!!! Shukran! If you want that “palace in the middle of the oasis experience” in Marrakesh, you will not get it any better than at the Oberoi!

Everyone took great care of us….the service was great!!! The property was amazing and we loved our rooms 😊 the staff was very friendly and helpful….the restaurant staff was great and we enjoyed all our meals! The room service and house keeping staff was excellent! It felt like coming home 😊

Excellent hotel set in beautiful gardens with a lovely pool area, multiple restaurants overlooking their gardens and views to the Atlas through their beautiful water feature which stretches into the distance. Accommodation in spacious private villas with individual walled terraces and your own pool, which is accessible both from the Living Room and Bedroom area and also through the enormous rain shower within the bathroom. Brilliant to avoid those wet feet padding across the suite! There are some spacious and well thought out Reception areas, great bars and essential in five star hotels these days - a brilliant Spa. Walk through their amazing olive groves, relax over lunch by their huge infinity pool or dine on their terrace overlooking the gardens along with a separate Indian restaurant which serves outstanding Indian fare which is part of the Oberoi legacy. Families will find plenty of space for the little ones and it is an easy half an hour drive into the centre of Marrakech. I found the staff throughout the hotel absolutely charming and efficient and at the end of the day, nothing was too much trouble which is the Oberoi way!
