We had the best stay ever at this Riad. It’s like a tropical oasis in between the main square and Le Jardin Majorelle. The Riad is decorated beautifully with tasteful decor, plenty of places to relax by the pool, and a large roof top terrace. The pool is clean and peaceful and Idriis was very welcoming. We also enjoyed breakfast which was a traditional Moroccan offering of various pancakes with jam, butter, coffee & juice. The best part of our stay was meeting Bejia (not sure how to spell her name) who cooks breakfast and maintains the Riad. She was super smiley and friendly everyday and made us feel so welcome. Thank you so much Idriis & Bejia 🩵

Very peaceful and quiet atmosphere, the Riad team very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Since we were out and about a lot, we had a lot of laundry. The friendly service staff offered to do our laundry for us, which was very convenient. We used this option twice. You also get a key for the entrance gate, which makes you feel very at home, plus you are very independent. In general, I can recommend this accommodation to everyone. We felt very comfortable and if we come to Marrakech again, it will be the Riad Barokko! Oh, and the Riad looks even better in person than in the pictures.

Absolutely beautiful riad, the decor was traditional Moroccan style and spotlessly clean. The rooms were lovely with really nice bedding. It was nice to sit on the patio for breakfast or sit on the many chairs or sofas to chill after an afternoon of hussle n bustle of marrakech. The staff were very friendly and helpful, felt very at ease and welcome, you could ask them anything. Would definitely stay here again, also close to the main attractions.

We arrived and the gentleman tried to steal our money with the tourist tax. He was about to charge us 5 euros per person for one night .... We waited at least 15 minutes for him to arrive with the correct change. Once we entered the situation did not improve because we found a very dirty room with hair on the toilet, I don't think there is anything else to add ... We asked for take-away breakfast for the next day, we were told yes but in reality they did not prepare it. (By the way, the kitchen fridge was also super dirty) Absolutely to be avoided

It was our first time in Marrakech and we couldn't have stayed in a better place than this. We always feel at home, very welcome and accompanied. Breakfast was always served with coffee or tea, orange juice, bread, and sometimes there was cake or other types of Moroccan pastries. The air conditioning in the room we were in worked well, and the bed was comfortable. A very quiet place, within the Medina but away from the hustle and bustle. Wake up to birds singing first thing in the morning. Everyone was very pleasant to us and we would repeat the Marrakech experience at this Riad.

We could not find fault at all. Idriss and his staff were considerate, caring, treated us extremely well and respectful. Breakfast was delicious and the room was very clean and well looked after during our stay. Although this was our first time in Marrakesh we have travelled extensively so are really aware of high standards. Family business, airport transfer even at 3am, mini pool in the courtyard, very basic room, small window, AC, closet, mini bathroom. Perfect for a short vacation. Breakfast in the courtyard, but only baguette, jam, butter, coffee and tea. Located in the middle of Medina. She friendly family. Not super clean, but OK for a two next. Wifi for free, taxi central.
