Riad Laz Mimoun & Spa

Just returned from a stay at this riad. The property is lovely and the staff are so attentive. Located in walking distance of the old town to see the sights. The rooftop area and pool provides a peaceful escape when needed. The breakfasts are also pretty great!

I don't like writing this review however I wasn't left with an option here. First of all the Riad is lovely, daytime and nighttime staff also. The Riad is at the end of an alleyway which isn't ideal but I find Marrakesh safe in general so safety didn't cross my mind. The reason I am leaving a low rating for this visit was because I booked directly with Jamila the manager, 4 days before arrival. The stay was for 4 nights and on the last night when I checked the website to find out the check out time, I found a section with special offers. It showed that to stay there for 4 nights it was actually €237 cheaper to what I paid, including pickup and return airport transfers and two hamman treatments. Keeping in mind, I booked directly through the manager and a special offer was never mentioned. I feel like the difference in price and offer is significant. When I communicated this to Jamila it was passed off as a new offer with a half hearted "sorry" and an offer of a transfer to the airport (worth €10/12). I put my disappointment in writing and asked her to communicate my message with the French owners of the Riad. She is still to click in or respond to the message that was sent her to what's app on the 26th of January. I don't like writing this review however I feel this was very unfair and Jamila or the owner of the Riad should have reached out to me to fix this situation. If you choose to go to this Riad, I'm sure you will enjoy it but please learn from my experience and check their website for special offers.

This Riad is absolutely glorious and the staff were awesome - Jamila, Youssef and Ilias. Breakfasts were great as well. The interiors are beautiful. I took some videos but can’t post on TripAdvisor. We stayed here for 2 nights and then went to the desert for 3 nights and returned here for 2 nights. It was like returning to a favorite place to stay! In addition they have a very nice sun deck upstairs with a small pool. Perfect for the day I arrived when I just wanted to chill.

Excellent service! Care and consideration for your every need. Spa experience had me so relaxed and rested I didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend to all who want to rest and enjoy Marrakech. Amazing
