situation idéale pour visiter la ville. Aucun bruit dans la chambres (située à l'arrière) personnel vraiment gentil et serviable. petit déjeuner correct inclus dans le prix: pas d'énorme choix mais suffisant. Garage sécurisé. Hotel très propre. à conseiller.

J'ai passé une nuit en semaine pour affaires à proximité. Habitué de la gamme Ibis Styles je m'attendais à un peu mieux. La chambre était froide (dans tous les sens du terme : le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas et la déco était très minimaliste), la literie était à peine correcte et il n'y avait aucun équipement qu'on trouve généralement ailleurs (pas de plateau d'accueil, pas de couverture supplémentaire, pas de mouchoirs...). L'équipe est très sympa, le petit déjeuner bien fourni, l'emplacement central et l'environnement très calme, mais ça n'enlève pas l'impression que les 140 euros demandés ne valent pas les prestations fournies.

The hotel is well located to visit the town, the room was ok and clean, the breakfast standard good. However arriving about 5:30pm only one light on above the reception desk the remainder of the entrance/ reception/bar/breakfast area was in the dark. The “ industrial architecture” makes it a very depressing area. Please keep lights on!

Clean,convenient,basic but functional as a quick stop over on the way back to Calais. We booked this last minute so it was expensive for what you get. Good however to have parking options, the only difficulty is finding it as previous people have said. Sat Nav does not understand the one way restrictions!

Het hotel is erg basic. Ja het is een Ibis, maar had er meer van verwacht. De foto's op de website geven een vertekend beeld. Ongezellige kamer, sofa in plastiek, geen zakdoekjes, dunne handdoeken, water in bad liep niet goed weg, wc bak duurde een eeuwigheid voor die terug gevuld was. Ontbijtruimte niet gezellig, ontbijt basic. En dat alles voor 148€ + 10€ parking. Locatie is prima, pal in het centrum en personeel was vriendelijk.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. We stayed in Room 4 which seemed cold considering the weather had been warm and no amount of adjustment to air con seemed to make any difference, but we were there only for one night. Car parking was underground and safe. In all a fairly average budget hotel. However, a warning to anyone using Google Maps as the basis for their Sat Nov. The front of the hotel faces the Place de la Republique and the rear where the entrance to the car park is situated is on Rue Lochet. The Rue Lochet is a one way road and for some reason Google does not recognise this and tries to take one the wrong way up the street! The best way to drive to the hotel is to set the Sat Nav for the Place De La Republique, park up in the free spaces, get the entry code to the car park from reception and then take two right hand turns to access the car park from the right end of the Rue Lochet - that way it will save a lot of stress.

Some difficulty finding the hotel as the satnav wanted us to go down a one way street. The Place de la Republique carpark was full, so had to park illegally to go into Reception and get the underground parking door code and directions to it. Friendly, helpful welcome at Reception. I'd requested a quiet room on a low floor and we got it. Simple contemporary furnishings, clean and a with a very comfortable bed. Great range of bars and restaurants in and off the picturesque square. [Good food and service at the St Alp brasserie.] Wide choice at the cold buffet breakfast. Would happily stay here again as it is so conveniently situated.

Cet hôtel idéalement situé au centre de la ville est à recommander pour une découverte de la ville, ces monuments, ces superbes balades fluviales, ses restaurants, de belles découvertes parmi ces derniers. Accueil chaleureux, on récupère la chambre à 11h au lieu de 11h et on dispose d’un parking avec accès direct par l’ascenseur de l’hôtel.

Aside from cleanliness being a tad below my personal (high) expectations, this was a faultless and very comfortable stay. Set right on the square which hosts regular events, the Ibis Styles Centre is the perfect stay for exploring this delightful city. Lively by day, at night it was quiet - perfect for a restful night in comfortable beds. The hard-working staff are friendly and helpful. The decor in summer 2024 is iconic, mirroring the city's historic archictecture and the "jeu"/challenge which accompanies it a great idea.
