My husband and I have just returned from our 20th visit to this lovely hotel. As always we were given the warmest welcome from Abdarahm on reception and serkan the bell boy. Check in is always quick and easy and our cases were taken straight up to our room. We always upgrade to a sea view room, it is worth paying a little extra as you overlook the pool area and the view of the ocean is stunning. If you wake up early enough you can watch the sunrise from the balcony, really beautiful to watch. The hotel is in the ideal location between Marmaris and Icmeler with lots of shops and bars in easy walking distance . We arrived just in time for dinner and were warmly greeted by the restaurant staff including Tolga the head chef and all the lovely waiters . These lovely people are the main reason that we keep going back every year, they really are the nicest people we have ever met. During our first week it was my birthday, Tolga made me a cake and all the waiters sang happy birthday to me, made me feel really special, such a nice touch. The three waiters that really are a credit to the hotel are Sellahattin, Enis and Emin, they work so hard as do all of the staff including the bar staff and cleaners. The hotel is always spotlessly clean, the cleaners arrive really early in the morning to clean the lobby and reception area and then spend the rest of the day cleaning the rooms that are always done to a very high standard. The food was really nice although as expected at the end of the season it does tend to be repetitive but we always managed to find something nice , the jacket potatoes and strawberry waffles were amazing . We spent most of our time on the beach as the pool area does get quite noisy , the entertainment team do love to play music quite loud during the day so, if like me you enjoy reading and relaxing then the beach is the place to go. Sinan is the beach man who looks after everyone, he is such a nice man, he greets everyone with a smile, always insists on making up your sunbed , he works every single day and keeps the beach clean and tidy. The area is very good for shopping, but we prefer the next resort of Icmeler, a 5 minute ride on the local dolmus that comes every ten minutes, you can flag it down anywhere and only costs 40 lira, about 75 pence. The shops there are much nicer and you dont get hassled so much. Our friend Tahir runs a shop called metropol in the centre of the resort, his clothes and rock band t shirts are very good value for money and very good quality. There is an excellant restaurant called florida that we always go to for sunday roast and english breakfast, the owners and staff are lovely and always welcome us warmly. We have really enjoyed our 20th visit sharing special time with all the lovely staff members and also other returning guests that we now call friends. The only downfall for us was the entertainment team, we were hoping to spend more evenings at the hotel , but the acts were quite disappointi
