Overrated … gone downhill , shame ! Big change , this was a really nice hotel , nice clientele, older and quiet , great service. This year , loud brash , very pushy to buy drinks , eat there , young staff now doing to loud dance , tacky entertainment.., It’s self catering apartments, truly appalling kitchen equipment, asked bar for ice , they said they can’t give ice , no ice machine. They supply one toilet roll .. it’s a 4 star !!! It’s absolutely not , they are so cheap and penny pinching Hotel cleaning staff are amazing

Jon and his team on the Bar Azad and Amir,were very friendly and welcoming for the whole holiday They made our holiday a fun Experience always had time to chat to you xx Mehmet on Reception very welcoming and helpful. Me and my mum were self catering but ate at the hotel restaurant most mornings and evenings And all food was very nice and cooked to.perfection Hotel was very nice and clean Rooms nice and clean and have everything you would need on holiday . Good.location to walk to the beach and shops about 10 mins Thanks all of you for a great holiday Carrie and Carol 7th to 14th October x

This was my 1st time in Marmaris and all I can say is I would come back in a heartbeat. The hotel / apartments are well kept, clean and very comfy. Woukd definitely early come back all the staff are very polite and helpful, especially the bar / poolside staff who put in the long hours and days to cater for everything you want with smiles on their face and still the energy to dance into the night thanks to John and his team the food is outstanding, especially the Fajitas can't recommend highly enough .

Stayed here for a week .It did not get off to a good start .The room given to us was 308 it’s nothing more than a store room .It was right in front of the bar & music & direct sunlight , the room was like a sauna one small window in the bedroom .when you opened the balcony doors the music was VERY VERY LOUD . We went to reception to ask for another room as this Room wasn’t suitable for us .The day time reception man said he couldn’t do anything I would have to see the manager . We didn’t unpack and waited a day to see the manager . The rooms heat ment we got next to no sleep . I didn’t want to pay the A/C charge ( you pay per A/C unit in each room ) we had 2 A/C units that would have cost us over £100 for the week . I stalked the reception the following day eventually got to see the manager . The Manager was Brilliant, I asked him if the reception guy had told him ofabout issue he said No !! The manager went behind reception and change the room immediately (this took less than a minute) I Thanked him . So lucky we didn’t unpack The next room was perfect !! It was clean spacious 2 sets of patio doors it was cool and away from the Loud music . Time to start our holiday. The hotel is clean well maintained. All the sun beds & brollies are in good condition. But once again the music was so LOUD you couldn’t think .Asked DJ ear drum damage. To turn it down he did then slowly turned it back up . Most people around the pool said it was to Loud . This hotel has so much potential and it’s missing the bus . You are constantly asked for drinks bottles of efes 183 TL 63 down the road in a shop The staff around the pool going over to people especially women sitting on their sunbeds very touchy feely. So unprofessional & uncomfortable to watch . You get 1 toilet roll on arrival then you have to buy them . Give you self time to settle your bill as this becomes frustrating we were charged for breakfast that was part off the package and putting things on we never had . Sort your bill everyday it’s easier. The maids are hardworking lovely ladies who never stop ! The night reception guy was Great & very helpful. The gym downstairs is very good it’s clean and has good equipment in it . This was a big plus for me .All in all the best was the weather ,Manager, maids ,night reception guy . I would not go back I find some of the reviews don’t give a true reflection of this hotel . Sort your drinks prices you will sell a whole lot more !!! It’s a no brainer. Free toilet rolls and retrain some of you staff .Also look at the A/C prices .Lastly you only get one room key ,So if you & your partner are doing different things it’s a pain . Well Club Karakus you won’t be seeing us again .

In general we thought we had value for money, you do get what you pay for. The whole of the hotel was very clean and tidy, the cleaning staff are a credit to themselves. The pool area was always clean, never a rush for sunbeds, though this may of been the time of the season. We were aware of the charge for aircon and toilet rolls prior to leaving for our trip so that wasn’t a shock. The prices of drinks from the bar are inflated. In my opinion the hotel isn’t doing itself any favours by charging 183tl for a bottle of Efes when you can purchase the same from the local supermarket for 63tl. Maybe drop the prices slightly and you may get more custom. Be aware that you are not allowed to bring own food and drinks to the bar area. The bar staff can be a little pushy trying to sell drinks and food especially with new arrivals. Always double check your room tab before paying it. On the whole we had a good holiday, but would not return to Club KARAKAS
