Excellent anniversary treat overnight stay with fantastic view of river complete with rainbow! Staff very welcoming and professional. Dinner well presented but not huge portions. Breakfast generous. Bedroom spacious with enormous bed.

Trash all over the room from person before us under the cabinets in them everywhere! Service was okay at most. The people at check in are okay, but don’t be fooled. Very expensive for what it is. Quality has gone down very fast and by a lot. Nice view but the doors to the balcony need total redoing. The door is overall very dangerous. We had to ask for toilet paper and a remotes for the tv since they were both absent when we checked into the room

My friend and I had a superb afternoon tea and sat at a table next to the river in the sunshine. We were warmly welcomed and had excellent service throughout. Hulya was friendly, attentive and extremely helpful. Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing afternoon. We hope to be back!

We booked in for 1 night to break up the journey north from Heathrow. It’s very pretty though and our experience at the Compleat Angler so absolutely lovely that we’ve decided to stay 3 nights. The staff here are all professional and attentive but I have to give a mention to Hulya who helped look after us in the restaurant. The star of the show though is Lily who’s super helpful and her stellar recommendation’s about the area contributed to our decision to stay an extra 2 nights at the hotel - thank you Lily.
