A superfine hotel in the mid of fruitgardens and vineyards can be recommended especially for honey mooners and those who want to repeat this all the time again and again. The hotelfacilities are super well maintained and all services are available for wellness, gym, sauna, swimming pool and massages. The kitchen is amazingly good. Sometimes too much :-)

L'hospitalité de haute volée vit encore !
Cadre reposant et très bien tenu, chambres et lieux communs de l'hôtel très propres et confortables, service attentif et courtois (plus particulièrement venant de la part des jeunes serveuses et serveurs), maîtresse des lieux présente et à l'écoute, perpétuant la longue tradition d'hospitalité du lieu et de sa famille, cuisine exquise, grande attention aux détails. Un séjour qui redonne foi en l'hôtellerie et ses valeurs traditionnelles de dévouement, patience, attention et anticipation envers les hôtes.

This has truly been one of the most fantastic and comfortable stays for us. We were greeted super friendly and received a complementary update to a beautiful suite overlooking the pool. All staff were so friendly and capable and at the same time genuinely interested and authentic. You feel right at ease. When we needed to go to hospital with our son, the staff did everything in their power to make it still a pleasant evening for us. The room was really great and has all that you need (the only thing would be a coffee machine). The facilities are even better where you feel being in a spa. The restaurant serves such great food that we did not feel any need to go out. Also when we had to be flexible with our son, they did everything to accommodate us so we had a nice dinner. We are definitely returning and can’t wait for our next stay!!!

We spent 2 nights at the hotel as part of a cycling group and the hotel could not have been more welcoming! The staff was very congenial, particularly the great girls at the front desk and of course, Mother Waldner is a gem!! (Don't forget to tip the kitchen staff in the piggy bank on the reception counter - so cute!!)The property itself is just lovely with outdoor terraces, refreshing pool, lovely landscaping, well appointed rooms and indoor pool. I only got a 30 minute massage, everything else was booked for our stay but the facilities looked quite nice. The breakfast buffet had a great selection (no lactose free milk :-( but they did really try hard to accommodate my silly diet restriction. Dinners were good but because we were a group, we had a set menu and those are rarely reflective of a restaurant's potential - so rely on some of the other reviews for dining. Looking at the prices on their website I'd say its an incredible value!! If you want to relax in piece and quiet and comfort then this is the place for you.

Ma cosa c'è meglio dell'Oberwirt? Professionalità austriaca (anche se siamo a Marlengo- Merano). Cibo da gran gourment (anche se caro!). Consiglio la mezza pensione (30 euro che valgone ottime cene di 6 portate). Il pesce è favoloso, freschissimo e cucinato con maestria. Da provare la tartarre: viene preparata davanti ai tuoi occhi con gli ingredienti che preferisci. Camere ampissime, comode e confortevoli. Dovrebbero però mettere l'aria condizionata in tutte. In piena estate un po' si soffre. Piscina interna meravigliosa, piscina esterna un po' freschina. beauty center di alto livello. Da provare le saune e i bagni turchi (bagno delle rose e dei cristalli). Lettini ad acqua. Vasche gelate. Vasche idromassaggio. Lettini solare. Provate i trattamenti al vino (massaggio con i sacchettini con vinaccioli su tutti). Trattamenti St. Barth ottimi. I bimbi sono ben accolti e anche i cani!! Torno almeno 2-3 volte all'anno da quando l'ho scoperto grazie ad una recensione. Peccato chiuda ai primi di Novembre e riapra a Marzo, perchè Capodanno lo passerei davvero lì. ps: le receptionist sono dolcissime, brave e preparate.

Sono passati due anni da quando ho conosciuto questo paradiso di hotel. La famiglia Waldner è speciale in tutto e lo ha trasmesso allo staff, ai camerieri, ed a tutto il personale della SPA. Pulizia, ordine, cortesia, gentilezza, non altre parole che descrivere tutto questo. In tutte le mie recensioni è la prima volta che metto 5 stelle anche se l’iro hanno 4 stelle Superior. Alloggiato nella Suite, cenato due sere alla carta e assaggiato vini eccellenti, percorso massaggio fenomenale all’uva e pilling al fieno, sauna, bagno turco, relax a non finire. Non posso aggiungere nulla se non un grazie infinite a Barbara Waldner. Complimenti e grazie per quello che fate per i vostri ospiti.

seit 2008 verbringen wir hier jedes Jahr 14 Tage unserer Sommerferien. Das Personal Marco, Suzanna an der Bar, einfach spitze, wir fühlen uns dort wie zu Hause. Sehr zu empfehlen sind die Gartenzimmer gegenüber am Pool. Wir essen immer a la Carte. Das Essen ist hervorragend und auf jeden Sonderwunsch wird eingegangen.

Siamo ritornati in questa bellissima struttura dopo un intervallo di qualche anno: se possibile, l'abbiamo trovata ancora migliorata. Stanze perfettamente insonorizzate e confortevoli, ristorante di classe con piatti eccellenti, colazione davvero superba con prodotti di qualità e di grande varietà. A questo dobbiamo aggiungere la disponibilità di tutto il personale, pronto a risolvere ogni problema. Risultato: relax assoluto ed un ritorno assicurato.
