The hotel is fine, the staff were friendly and everything worked well for us. I would warn people staying here to be sure of arrangements for getting around the town/area if you have mobility problems. The hotel is situated about 20 minutes walk out from the town centre at the top of a steep hill. There is a bus service (No 10) which goes past the hotel into the town. We were warned by the staff that for some reason taxi's are hard to actually pin down in Marlborough, we tried every number that the hotel had (a printout from the internet). When we got someone to answer, the taxi wouldn't be available for another 3 hours, so be careful if you are planning on using this service. I have never encountered this problem before.

During our RIAT experience, we used the Premier Inn Marlborough as our home base. The rooms have been as described on the website. Nevertheless some minor deficiencies need to be mentioned, like leaking plumbing in the shower due to a mssing seal in the shower hose or the poor basic design of the sinks in the bathroom, where it's not really possible to wash your hands without making a mess, as the faucets are not in the middle but on the edge of the sink . But this is complaining on a high level. The choice of food for breakfast or dinner is average but adequate. The quality and taste of the served menus was excellent. The staff is very friendly, attentive and helpful. The site can be recommended without any reservations or doubts. We will for sure show up again, when being in the vicinity. Our heartful "thank you indeed" to the whole team is definitely earned. P.S. The nearby Tesco in walking distance is another plus, which came very handy.

Excellent location, very nice building and warm welcome. You do need to register your car. Nice room, although I did book 2 rooms, and thought my friend and I would have rooms next to each other... at least we were on the same floor! However, the price was exactly the same, yet she had a bath in her room, I didn't. I had a sofa bed, where we could lounge an chat, but she only had a chair. Very comfy bed of course, and quiet.

The staff were excellent and helpful which was much appreciated as on of us is in a wheelchair. The room was well up to the high Premier Inn standard. We had both evening meal and breakfast both of which were very OK especially the breakfast.

Abigail and Rebin were great and went above and beyond to contact customer services to resolve our problem. I had mistakenly overbooked and was completely unaware of the Premier Inn procedure.

Regular Premier Inn, you know what you get, however… we booked, and paid for, the early check in. The two check-in machines were out of order and only one member of staff who was doing everything!! The room lacked attention to detail cleaning. Bathroom tiles need a good scrub. The room smelled musty and damp. The bedding was old and seemed damp also. The car park registration machine wasn’t in obvious place and we weren’t reminded to put car reg in, just hoping we don’t get a fine in the post as we ended up doing it when we spotted machine on walk to down to breakfast! Premier Inn hotels are now no longer reasonably priced.

The location is very good and there was one disabled space left. Everywhere was neat and tidy. The room was mostly quiet. The drain was blocked in the wet room so it took about 15 minutes for the water to drain. This was a serious slip hazard. The cooked breakfast was ok but not great. There was another hour of service and there was hardly any food and we had to keep asking for food, which we then had to wait to be cooked. The 5 of us were excited to enjoy that traditional Premier Inn breakfast and this did not meet expectations.
