Varaba Country House

The place was so pleasant, overall service is also very good. The owner and the manager's behavior and attitude is so nice and lovely. We recommend the people's to book and go there.

Very clean apartment with wonderful views, bed was very comfortable, tea and coffee facilities in the room and a tv. The breakfast was varied and filling with excellent service. The staff were friendly and very helpful with a taxi service which was superb. We would definitely return for a lovely, quiet relaxing stay. It is a little’out of the way’ but definitely worth the stay .

Very nice. The location is near the airport but could be hard to find. It closes at 9:30, but if advised the reception will say on, or the shuttle service from the airport will let you in. Excellent rooms and quaint place. You do hear planes landing if you are sensitive. Very pleasant staff, and very quiet except for the planes.

This place is a hidden gem for sure. Literally out in the middle of nowhere, but super cozy and the dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious! Will definitely stay here again when we have an early flight the following day. Staff was super friendly.

We arrived late and pretty much had dinner straight away. You can preorder this, which is what you need to do as there doesn't appear to be any other options nearby. The dinner was good. Tomato salad, feta, hummus and croutons to start. Pastitsio for main and a small panacotta for dessert. It was a nice spot to sit and have a peaceful dinner. The room was nicely decorated but although we had a large loft area for our son, which had two single beds in it, there was very little space for our luggage in our room. The bathroom was also very small. A couple of hooks somewhere would have been helpful to assist with towels, bathmat, etc. Unfortunately there were alot of mosquitos in our room. Luckily there was a can of insect spray available and after my husband went to town with the spray, we managed to zap them all! The let down was the breakfast. An average cornflake type cereal, one overcooked hard boiled egg each, bread, butter, jam and honey. Fruit. It was very unimaginative. Even just some plain Greek yoghurt would have been good. All in all, it served our purposes for a late arrival before a flight home the following day.
