We loved the seclusion of this genteel sea front hotel. Rooms were immaculately clean with beautiful sea views. With regard to the beach/sea, we prefer private rocky coves with clear water over crowded sandy beaches and El Faro delivered! There were always plenty of loungers and shady spots if you wanted to get out of the sun. The entrance to the sea could be difficult for small children or those with mobility issues, but there are two swimming pools. Outstanding service at every level. Compliments to the staff and their professionalism. The breakfast buffet was ample and some additional items were available for a modest fee. The only complaint we have was the horrible coffee. We tried ordering espresso and cappuccino, but they were just as bad as the American coffee. Finally we resorted to hot tea, but the water was never really hot enough. A small thing to some, but for those of us who can’t wait for that first sip of a good hot cup of coffee in the morning, it was disappointing. We ate two lunches and several dinners at the hotel and were pleased with everything we ordered. One evening we drove into Alghero for dinner, but traffic, parking and the town were a circus. We quickly realized that we preferred to stay at the resort to enjoy a good, relaxing meal with great service and a stunning view. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend and return.

Posizione scomoda , non ha spiaggia , camere rumorose , per raggiungere Alghero il costo della navetta molto alto considerando la distanza , fuori dall’hotel il nulla , rapporto qualità prezzo ingiustificato ,personale non tutti gentili, sconsigliato

I had a great experience at Hotel El Faro. The room was very clean, and housekeeping did an excellent job every day. The outdoor area was beautiful, with lots of nature and a rocky beach that made the place feel special. I really enjoyed the quiet, private sunbeds and the view of the sea from my room. The hotel is simple but very well maintained. The staff were kind and welcoming. Breakfast had fewer options than expected, but everything was fresh and tasty. Overall, a peaceful and relaxing stay — I would definitely come back!

Nous avons apprécié cet hôtel pour son emplacement et les services offerts. Le restaurant était vraiment très bon, la piscine chauffée vraiment agréable . Les chambres sont très propres et pas de soucis de bruit. Le petit déjeuner était varié avec des pâtisseries, des œufs, charcuterie . Il faut juste savoir que les escaliers sont très nombreux dans cet hôtel.

This is the 4th time at this hotel with our tour group. What a pleasant surprise that management has changed for the better as well as the restaurant. This beautiful hotel was always lacking in the food department but I am happy to say that the new chef( who trained in France) has brought it up to the level a 4 star hotel should have. As always, the hotel as well as the entire staff has a fresh and welcoming atmosphere that was also missing in 2019. Well done El Faro! I would definitely recommend this hotel

La struttura è molto suggestiva, sul mare e di fronte a Capocaccia. Ci sono diverse tipologie di stanze: quelle sul retro della Reception non sono all'altezza della struttura. La colazione è essenziale, sebbene ci siano diverse opzioni extra a pagamento. La palestra, ben collocata, è piccola ma funzionale. È distante dai servizi principali quali farmacia o market, munitevi di auto. Personalmente non è una struttura adatta a bambini.

Belle chambre avec bonne literie, nous avons pris la supérieure avec une vue incroyable sur la mer. Très calme. Une piscine a l'eau de mer chauffée a moitié couverte et une autre plus petite non chauffée. Beaucoup de terrasses avec des transats laissant la possibilité d'être tranquille. L'hôtel est très grand avec des salons, un restaurant, un bar, un spa et une salle de sport. A l'arrivée de l'eau dans la chambre et des snacks. Les peignoirs sont a 10 euros. Le petit déjeuner est copieux avec surtout des pâtisseries. Le personnel est poli mais pas très souriant, tout juste aimable (petit déjeuner et bar de la piscine). Le restaurant est accessible quoique assez gastronomique. Un peu cher tout de même. Pour l'impact environnemental, dommage de changer les serviettes tous les jours (même quand pas demandé) et de mettre des petits flacons de produits jetables. Même si c'est appréciable !

What a DREAM stay! Book it now! It was so relaxing, beautiful and perfect in every way! We loved the pools, sun loungers and breathtaking ocean views! L’emplacement au bord de la mer est magnifique, les extérieurs très bien aménagés. Le personnel est disponible et souriant. L’accès au spa (même sans soin) est payant, ce n’est pas une récusé sur ********** comme dans d’autres hôtels.
