This resort is relatively large in the Yosemite tourist area. The rooms are nice and it is about 20 to 30 minutes drive from the west gate of Yosemite, which is convenient. The hotel is self-service and there are almost no people.

This is a good hotel to stay at if you need somewhere to stay before reaching Yosemite. It does state that it’s about 30 min from Yosemite on their website, which is true . I choose this hotel because it was less expensive than staying in the park . After driving hwy 120 to and from the park two days in a row in addition to the fact that once you reach Yosemite entrance you have to drive almost another 20-30 minutes to get to the far side of the park I wish I would have stayed in the park . Hwy 120 is a windy road in the mountains although we were fortunate to have good weather, I would not want to drive that road in poor weather conditions . The room was clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant attached that has decent food .

Super clean and you have a restaurant right next to the hotel and the Park entrance is really near.

Stayed there for 2 nights with family. Got to our room in 604 and noticed that the toilet is clogged. Called the front desk and was told by the lady that it usually takes time for the water to drain. I requested from her for a lodge staff to check it but was told that she’s by herself and no one is available. She had us get a toilet plunger instead. My husband who tried to remedy the situation, walked to the Yosemite Lodge front desk lobby to get the toilet plunger. Of course, the plunger didn’t work! Didn’t call the front desk again since it was already after hours.
Disaster happened the following morning when me and my family were getting ready for our trip to Yosemite Park. Toilet was still clogged and this time, dirty water was already coming out from the shower tub drain. Called the front desk, no one answered, so had to personally walk there disgusted and very upset. A different front desk lady was apologetic and moved us to another room.
It was such a horrible, terrible and stressful experience! We will never ever ever again stay in this property.
