The dune chalet view is beautiful, but it needs renovation to justify the price. Staff do not seem happy, rather bored especially at reception. We asked for a night drive but were told not possible to do for under four guests (at 150 usd per person). Food was good and our waitress was very friendly. Overall a pretentious, mass tourism feel place.

Comfortable lodge with interesting activities available. Well located for a 2 night stopover on way to Sossusvlei. Good breakfasts and dinners included.

Bagatelle has a lovely restaurant, pool, and reception area. There is a very nice shop with many quality items. The activities offered are interesting, and the guides are professional and knowledgeable. We had a combined tour including both safari and cheetah feeding as well as a sunset with an outdoor bar. The chalets have lovely views from the terraces. A big BUT, why have an 'open' toilet? No door. And no hand-washing facility next to it. Who was the architect who managed to get this solution accepted?

Leider waren wir nur 1 Nacht hier, was eindeutig zu wenig war. Unser Chalet war direkt an den Dünen und man hatte einen wunderbaren Blick in die Kalahari und konnte von der Terrasse die Tiere beobachten, die zu einem Wasserloch kamen. Die Anlage und das Chalet sind sehr schön, sehr sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war auch sehr gut. Hier würde ich definitiv nochmal hin kommen.

Un séjour exceptionnel dans ce lodge au cœur du désert du Kalahari. L’accueil était très chaleureux et les chambres confortables. Le safari avec les rhinocéros et guépards sera inoubliable. En prime, un apéro au coucher du soleil sur une dune, avec une vue splendide sur la vallée. Pour couronner le tout, le diner était le meilleur de tout notre voyage en Namibie. Un endroit à recommander sans hésiter !

C’est un endroit absolument incroyable avec cette sensation d’être seul au monde . Nous y avons dormi au camp site , chaque espace a sa propre douche et toilettes . Les campements sont très espacés. Le lodge est magnifique avec une décoration soignée et élégante. Nous avons bien apprécié la piscine après une journée dans le désert. Nous avons passé dans cet endroit un moment hors du temps !

Superlative. Best Welcome drinks in Namibia- and we had a few! The meals were stunning- beautiful pool and grounds. Fabulous views from our room across the Kalahari. Best home made croissants at breakfast( and again, we had lots to compare) The combination cheetah and sundowner drive was brilliant. We returned here after about 10 years because we loved it so much- and it' was even better this time!! Stay 2 days.

We verbleven hier 2 nachten aan het eind van onze 3 weken Namibië. Windhoek airport is circa 4 uur rijden. We hadden een prachtige kamer, vlakbij het zwembad, met uitzicht op de Kalahari. Interessante bushman walk gedaan en sundowner drive. Goed eten en mooie winkel. Stokstaartjes gezien, die zitten vlakbij de lodge en laten zich 's ochtends en 's avonds zien. Supertof!
