Hotel Adlon

Stayed for 3 nights. Within a walking distance from the city centre. The exterior of the hotel is worn out but from the inside you will find very hospitable service upon arrival. Free parking is available on the premises. The rooms are very standard but clean and quiet. During the summer months air conditioning would be needed but otherwise the price quality ratio is very much in place. There is a sports bar just next door serving a very tasty pizza. Special nominations have to be given to the breakfast service crew and the free bikes. A very much ok place overall.

The location was very good, a five-minute walk from the ferry, and about a ten minute walk to town, down a linden boulevard. Also bike rental, the Maritime museum and the atmospheric sail ship Pommern were only a stone's throw away. The cleanliness was good apart from a visible stain on the side of the mattress in the top bunk bed. Three plumbing problems: running the tap water made a loud rattling sound and one plastic pipe partly visible was visually unpleasant, plus there was an occastional drumming noise of water hitting the metal covering of the piping while taking a shower. The breakfast was very good, with fresh pineapple and melon plus freshly baked bread being the highlights, but efficiency in clearing the tables for new customers depended on the day - on one day I ended up wiping the table myself. The indoor swimming pool & sauna hours were only between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. which fit our schedules poorly. The view from our room was not as nice as in some of the pictures: there was a small bitumen roof in the forefront with some sea visible on the far left, but mainly fronts of houses nearby. We all liked that the cleaning was by request only, so we didn't need to think about moving our stuff around for the visits of cleaning staff. All in all a pleasant stay, but impossible to be completely satisifed.

Nice clean hotel, spacious room and good location very near the Vikig lines harbour and only a few blocks away from the town center. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Really worth the money!

Very helpful staff. We had no car so you can rent a bike for free. They also helped us with bus timetables and showed us nice swimming spots. Also there is free sauna and pool facilities. Breakfast is ok.

We travelled to Mariehamn to celebrate midsummer. We really enjoyed our stay and people in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We had our cat with us and everything went so well! Rooms were clean and nice and breakfast was really good. It was also nice that people can use sauna and swimming pool for free. You can also borrow bikes from the hotel. I will recommend this hotel!

It was a worm day and night and u couldn't open the windows and no ac. A small fan was in the room but it didn't cover me and my Sambo. Water was running from sink and u couldn't charge ur phone next to the bed. Over all it felt Realy old and dark, breakfast was Okej nothing mutch

Hotel is in a good place, you can see it from the ship. There is a pool and playroom. Good breakfast and pizzeria in the same building. We were missing air conditioner and food for kids at lunchtime. Nice people in reception!

The floors was dirty like the street outside. Over 30°c in the rooms (and it was’nt that warm outside.) The breakfast was really bad. Cold eggs, not much to choose between, the pool was cold and that was nice if u think of the rooms, like a cold shower after a sauna! 😅 The service from the employees were great. But over all, not recommend!

A good basic level hotel with an excellent location. The breakfast was good and there was a pizzeria next to the hotel where you could eat dinner. The downstairs playing rooms for the kids and the sauna + pool rooms were a surprising positive additional service. Maybe the only thing to criticize a little was the air quality and an "old school" air conditioning in our room but in the end it didn't matter much to us.
