Um lugar onde a simpatia e efeciência dos funcionários realça anda mais a paz e tranquilidade que envolve todo o ambiente circundante ao local e á Marialva em si. O castelo, a aldeia, as planiceis, até a própria piscian do empreendimento parece que se conjugam propositadamente! Vale a pena!

The hotel is beautiful. I never found out the history of it but it looks like a big part of the village was abandoned at some point and converted into a hotel. We ate outside on the terrace, on a warm night and my wife thought it was the most romantic setting she had ever had a meal. Food was very good. The pool are was great, however it was a bit difficult getting service. Since we pretty much had the pool to ourselves, i couldn't really expect someone to be standing at the bar waiting to serve me, so that was fine. There was one big negative for us however. My wife had had foot surgery, 2 months earlier and we had now idea how difficult it would be for her to get around the hotel. Everything was on different levels and everywhere was joined by very uneven cobbles and lots of steps.

This is a very different kind of place in that it is in a relatively remote area with individual cabins as accommodations. Yet it offers many amenities. We found the most outstanding part of our stay here to be the food. Breakfasts offered a large selection of hot and cold items. Everything was very fresh. But the dinners were absolutely outstanding… not just for the food but also for the exceptionally lovely and intimate setting… lit almost entirely by candlelight artfully placed in a traditional Portuguese styled dining room. The vegetable soups were so amazing I finished every drop. The meat and fish choices were also excellent as were the desserts. We especially enjoyed the codfish in a casserole dish. The young lady who served our dinners was absolutely delightful. Gosh, I tried to remember her name. I’m so sorry I can’t right now. But she was very charming and set out the candles in such a way that I wish I could duplicate here at home. The entire staff was very welcoming, courteous and helpful.

I was completely misled by internet reviews of this place. This place is a ripoff. It is NOT a luxury hotel. The bedsheets are polyester. The beds are so uncomfortable. I did not sleep. There were supposed the be bunk beds in our room - the bunk beds did not have guard rails on top or bottom bunk and the ladder was broken. The place smelled bad. Like musty combined with cheap air purifiers. No staff there overnight. The electricity went out. The dinner menu looked like a total ripoff, so we skipped, fortunately. The breakfast was very mediocre. Nuts were stale. Then they tried to charge us extra money for a bed on top of the absurd price for the hotel, which I complained about and they did not insist on. I am so livid at the awful experience. Pretty views - but you cannot smell a place or taste a place or feel the horrible cheap polyester sheets that they use at the place. Avoid.

É um local de excelência, o quarto tinha uma decoração cheia de glamour, o pequeno almoço era excelente e a zona do spa tinha todas as condições, experiência a repetir sem dúvida. Toda a zona envolvente estava bem tratada e limpa. O staff muito simpático.

Paz e tranquilidade
Não tenho nada a apontar, é difícil descrever a paz, tranquilidade, e bem estar que se sente nestas casas, toda a envolvência magica. O cuidado e pormenores da decoração… O pequeno almoço ótimo, a disponibilidade dos funcionários irrepreensível, é para voltar… Adoramos, foi em aniversário de casamento, e foi perfeito!

O serviço está ainda melhor , com mais opções, corretos em todo o atendimento, e com um spa óptimo além de tudo que já ofereciam, sem perder a autenticidade. Os jantares são especiais pelo ambiente e pela comida caseira de qualidade. As casas do coro são de bom gosto , bem cuidadas com atenção ao pormenor , arquitetura e natureza .
