This was a little short break down to the Kent coast and a one night stop off on a bank holiday Saturday.
The location was great and just a short walk into the centre of town, but there were a few good bars just down the road and also live music at the band stand nearby as well.
Staff were incredibly helpful and the seafront room was great to wake up to!

We had a great visit to Margate, but unfortunately, the accommodation largely detracted from our experience. Our room was on the first floor, directly bordering the lift shaft. This meant that whenever anyone in the building returned to their room, we would be badly disturbed. This happened pretty much every half hour throughout the night, and was impossible to sleep through. We also had a broken mixer in our shower, which meant that water only poured out scolding hot or freezing cold. We explained this at the time to the receptionist, and further followed up with customer service who told us they were looking into it - it's been three weeks and we've yet to be contacted. Really disappointing stay.

Perfect seafront hostel
it was a wonderful stay. Really nice bunk in the dorm, with a free one on one yoga class in the morning!!!

quick escape
very very friendly staff! The room was cleanish... could be better. no cups or gases but clean sheets nice warm and cozy room.

Slow
50mb/sec internet speed advertised by hotel - this was crucial in our decision to stay there as my wife needed to work. I measured the speed Sunday evening and Monday morning it was circa 14mb/sec.

Margate gem
Loved our stay in this quirky, friendly hotel. Immaculately clean sea view room ( no Tv but like this) and lovely open airy seating area and garden. Welcome drink was an unexpected bonus. Would return without doubt

Expensive small rooms
I booked a standard sea view room, the photo online is very different to the reality and far too expensive at £146. Room 303 was very small and cramped, "wardrobe" is a rack. Bathroom is small. Only reason I gave 2 stars was because the lady on reception was very pleasant.

Great space
The room was really clean and the bed was comfy. The shower was nice and hot. I have no complaints.
The communal area was a great space and the food and drink was great!
