Fantastic stay here. Being a Libertines fan it looked and felt the part. Overlooking the sea and a stones throw away from the centre of Margate. Rooms are unique and very comfortable. Free welcome drinks and spotlessly clean. Imogen and the other staff were brilliant. If you get a chance before the hotel side closes down at the end of the month, do it! You want regret it!

This place was brilliant! I literally travelled for roughly 34 hours to get there. 8000 miles on a plane, then car and then buses. I was deliriously happy with everything, the decor is beautiful. The staff are amazing, thanks girls! The breakfast was tip top and after all my travel the shower was amazing! After 3 nights of very little sleep I slept perfectly! I wish I’d stayed longer! 51S 56W

Our second stay here! Beautiful hotel, it's special to us since we're massive fans of the Libertines, and Peter Doherty, Stunning place, staff very friendly and welcoming, Beautiful rooms, we were in the Rowntree this time, comfortable bed, lovely fluffy towels, complimentary snacks and drinks, The Wasteland bar is also stunning, and the barman was welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is amazing!! We'll be back yet again! Love from Gillian and Craig

You could visit this quirky boutique hotel every weekend and every time see something new. The decor is incredible! You can just sit and marvel at every little detail in the bar areas from the paint effects to the awesome furnishings, until your eye is caught by the stunning view of the sea right outside the bay windows. The staff are on hand to cater to your every whim without being in your face. The vibe is just perfect for those that want to just come & go at their leisure but look at really cool stuff and talk to incredible people when they're not coming or going. Amazing rooms, gorgeous furnishings, incredible breakfast. The Loft Room with its walk in shower, gorgeous deep bath, bedding so soft you want to curl up in it forever... There is nothing not cool about this hotel. And if you pick a weekend when Pete Doherty is in the recording studio well then you are in for a treat because not only is he a hotelier & family man but also the nicest man in music. Our minds are blown after this weekend!

Nice enough hotel - but didn’t feel worth £250 per night. Hoped to be immersed in a Libertines experience and didn’t feel this at all, so overall disappointed as something we had wanted to do for a number of years, felt it was an anticlimax. Room nice enough breakfast was nice but nothing exceptional.

Stayed here in early summer and loved it. Decor around the place was great, not overly Libertines focused either, so you can stay here as a fan, and if you don't know them, it would probably pass you by. The room was great, as was the cocktail happy hour. Staff very friendly, and good breakfast too. Definitely going back!

Brilliant stay! Famous for being owned by The Libertines, but this places gives so much more. Staff and service were lovely, food and drinks delicious, and the interiors are exactly as you would expect (still laughing at what is in the bible...)

Me and my husband stayed for two nights for our anniversary following having to cancel in February due to covid. We were gutted to cancel the first time but when we rang, the member of staff we spoke to was so lovely and understanding (so sorry we didn’t take her name!). We had been wanting to stay since it opened and it completely exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome. We were shown to our room (Emily Dickinson) and absolutely loved the artwork and decor. The attention to detail really makes this place with all the subtle nods to the Libertines, they really have got everything right. We loved sitting by the window in our room with a glass of fizz. The bed was so comfy too and great drinks/snacks included. All the food we had was amazing, from the burger at the bar to the best cooked breakfast I’ve ever had. We also had a three course meal in the Arcady Lounge which was cooked to perfection with great service. I loved that you can have a relaxing meal but also the option of a bit of a party in The Wasteland. They really have got everything so right. The guys behind the bar made us feel right at home and we definitely enjoyed a good few gunga gins. When in Rome! I honestly cannot fault this place and we are so excited to come back. We definitely will be back for our anniversary next year but I want to come sooner too! Thanks to all x
