The Beetroot was the best choice I could have made for a much needed, last minute solo getaway. Perfectly situated in a central but peaceful area of the Old Town, less than 5 minutes walk from the beach, with great places to eat and explore including the Turner Contemporary gallery and a plenty of vintage and artisan wear shops just a stones throw away. My room absolutely spot on, with a gloriously comfortable bed and pillows, fantastic shower and everything I needed along with easy access to come and go as I pleased. Paul is a wonderful host, so warm and welcoming and so helpful with bags and with tips on places to visit and eat. Communication was spot on and I'll be forever grateful for the few days I spent at this delightful spot. Hope to return again in the not too distant future!

Hidden Gem
Super accommodating and friendly host.
Location two minutes walk to sea front and nice bars and restaurants.
Five minutes walk to Turner Contemporary.

The property was in an excellent position for us to explore. It was very well presented and offered everything we needed. The host Paul was brilliant from initial contact to showing us the room. Couldn’t ask for better. We went during a storm and once in the room couldn’t hear a thing. Will go back to the beetroot

Paul was very helpful. We were able to check in early and after we checked out we were able to leave our bags for the day.
