Although there is not much fun around the hotel, the small atmosphere of the hotel feels like a small garden. The facilities are relatively retro, the bath water flow is relatively comfortable, and the breakfast is average.

What a gem! We found Heritage Trail Lodge by chance and will definitely return. Our anniversary was made extra special in one of the luxe suits backing onto stunning bushland. The highlight was the beautiful birds that visited then went about their business. We wandered into Margs after breakfast at the lodge, shopped, and came back for lunch at the brewery. Our room had a huge spa bath and we ordered the Champagne package for our first night - total bliss! Take an extra day for a winery tour, we booked at the front seat and had so much fun. Thanks to the lovely hosts and see you next year.

It was a beautiful place. Bed was very comfortable. Area is close to centre. Beautiful scenery. Room very clean and we enjoyed the spa. Ricci was very helpful and very professional. Would definitely recommend this place. Thanks for a beautiful experience 😘

From the moment we arrived we felt completely relaxed and comfortable. From watching the native birds off our deck to the extremely comfortable bed. We had travelled for the past two weeks from Perth up to Exmouth and back down to Margaret River and the Heritage Trail Lodge was by far the best accommodation we have booked. Just a short stroll into town and right next to the Brew House, which had wonderful evening meals. The included breakfast at the Heritage Trail Lodge was delicious and our hosts, Ricci and Pete were absolutely lovely. Thank you so much for a great experience.
