We are repeat customers to this wonderful guesthouse where Lisa and Kieran make you feel part of their family. The cooked breakfasts are to die for and the old home set in lush gardens is a piece of paradise in the heart of Margaret River. We will be back.

We recently stayed at MR Guest House for 6 nights. It was a really lovely experience from start to finish. Our room was very comfortable, especially the bed and pillows!. Keiran cooked great breakfasts each morning and there was so much more, e.g. fresh fruit, home-made granola, muesli with yoghurt plus a variety of local bread. A cake for afternoon tea was also available to guests, as well as a port in the evening in the comfortable loungeroom if wanted.. Lisa is lovely - she is extremely friendly and is more than happy to impart her knowledge of the area and to give recommendations on activities and restaurants. Another thing I loved about staying in the guesthouse is that you met lovely, friendly people from all parts of the world at breakfast - it made our trip so much nicer. Lastly, the guesthouse is so close to town all the shops and restaurants were a quick walk away. We will definitely be back!

Our overnight stay was cosy and comfortable. Our room had homely touches and was very clean. Keiran cooked us a wonderful breakfast and Lisa is very bubbly and great to chat to. She is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the local area. Overall, we had a great stay!

Wir fühlten uns wie zu Hause. Lisa und Kearn waren sehr liebevolle und herzliche Gastgeber. Sie gaben uns auch tolle, hilfreiche Tipps. Die selbst gemachten Granola waren top! Mein Mann freute sich jeden Tag auf die leckeren Gummizucker in der Lounge.

We had four lovely nights as guests at Margaret River Guesthouse. The house is lovely and homey. And while we didn’t spend too much time in the communal areas other than the dining room, everything looked comfortable. We stayed two nights in the Nunnery and 2 nights in the Sanctuary king and both rooms, including beds, were comfortable. We liked both but if you can, choose a room with a spot for sitting on the veranda to watch the birds and rabbits in the garden. The guesthouse is a short stroll to town and there are several lovely restaurants to choose from and lots of wineries a short drive or tour away! It takes a special person to make a diverse group of people comfortable and welcome and Lisa is amazing at doing this each morning at breakfast! She has so much local knowledge to share which is very helpful for first time visitors such as ourselves. Keiran cooks a wonderful hot breakfast every morning to complement the continental offerings. The whole package is just a lovely vibe and we highly recommend a stay :)

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt im Guesthouse. Hervorragendes Frühstück. Die anderen Gäste waren alle sehr nett und ich habe mich mit Ihnen sehr gut unterhalten und ausgetauscht. Tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen von Lisa. Sehr freundliche und zugewandte Gastgeber. Ich empfehle das Guesthouse sehr.

It was such a lovely home away from home in Margaret River! Lovely cooked breakfast every morning and then you had the rest of the day to do whatever we wanted. Walking distance to the main street in Margaret River which made popping out for a nice meal super easy. Would stay again.

We talked to friends and did lots of internet research before booking the Margaret River Guest House and it was WONDERFUL! The self check-in was easy and perfectly set up. The room was large, comfy and clean. The common spaces are cozy and inviting. The breakfast is out of this world! Big hot breakfast follows fruit, pastries, coffee. Lisa is bubbly and informative (and knows LOTS about wine!) and Kieran is an amazing chef! The location is perfect as you can easily walk to a little supermarket and the shops and restaurants of town.

Home cooked hearty breakfast daily. Large dinning tables to share experiences with other guests. Extremely hospitable owner/host of this lovely and quint B&B. The premise is full of history and very comfortable. Plenty of like minded guests.
