Margaret River Holiday Cottages

Amazing place to stay. Our 3rd time here and we will be back again. Kids love the farm experience each morning and it's great to sit around the campfire each night.

If u want to get away from the city with your family, this holiday home is definitely one of our first choices! MRHC family treats their guests very well and they are always ready to answer your queries. Thumbs up to them! The animals here are really welcoming, we enjoyed the interactions and feeding time in the farm. We brought our kid to experience this farm-stay and was wondering if its really boring but to our surprise, its really a place we will come back again👍🏻

My husband and our four kids spent a wonderful 5 nights at the MR Holiday Cottages. It was everything we'd hoped it would be and more! Our kids are aged 6, 8, 9 and 11 and they all loved it. Days were spent roaming the farm and interacting with the animals, as well as playing basketball, soccer and long walks on the paths adjacent to the property. It was a wet chilly week but we were toasty warm with the fire and heat pump and kids enjoyed the heated pool. Rain on the tin roof a treat! Also a great dvd collection for movie nights. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking and Woolworths just a 5 min drive away. Basics were provided (salt, pepper, olive oil, sugar, tea, marshmallows). I enjoyed a couple of morning runs so bring your sneakers if you like to get out running/walking. The scenery is spectacular. Kids also loved the muddy walks. Andrew and his family have created a wonderful slice of country life and is an inspiration! Thank you for having us!

Last year this place was fully booked and so we were thrilled to snag a cottage this time round. We loved that we (and the children) could walk alongside, pet and feed the farm animals. I also appreciated how we were told that we were free to choose what we wanted (eg. We could go on to feed the bigger animals or stay on to continue feeding the baby kangaroos). The kids loved the buggy rides so much that they wanted to do it everyday. My wife noted how truly kids friendly the place was - from the tiny details of a tiny stool at the WC, to the kids cutlery and diningware, to the recommended restaurants and attractions that were kids friendly. Alot of thought had gone into all these tiny details. The farm hands, Andrew (owner) and Bella (owner's) daughter provided exceptionally informative talks about the animals and patiently answered the many questions I had. The cottages were immaculately and thoughtfully furnished. I was surprised by how well maintained the furniture and household fittings were. Thank you Andrew for not charging us for the wine glass we broke accidentally ＜3 Hope that my wife let's us come again next year (for the 3rd year in a row)!

We had the most wonderful family holidays at Margaret River holiday cottages! Jules and Andrew are lovely hosts, and their place is a little paradise for the kids and the grownups. We spent a week there over Christmas and that was the highlight of our Australian trip! Kids had an amazing experience feeding the animals every morning before doing a truck tour and enjoying the beautiful playground and pool. Location is great, just near the farmer market and nice grocery shops. We found our cottage homey and very well equipped. We stayed there almost every evening for BBQ! Honestly, the entire stay was a dream! We already miss our alpaga and kangaroo friends and can’t wait to go back again!
