Grand Mercure Basildene Manor Accor Vacation Club Apartments

Exquisite hotel and pool, set in beautiful grounds, just a walk or drive into Margaret River. Room was tastefully decorated, clean and well appointed. The hotel staff couldn't have been be more friendly and helpful which really added to our experience. We had a fantastic relaxing two nights stay, thank you.

The atmosphere, decor and attention to detail was wonderful. The house is immaculate and shrouded in leafy green trees and gardens. Secluded benches hidden in amongst the garden pathways invite tranquility and rest. My room was luxurious and I loved the view down into the front gardens. I was always greeted warmly and the hospitality was excellent. Breakfast in the conservatory was delicious and we loved the afternoon tea of coffee and cake. I especially loved the photos and history of the house on display as it added to the sense of history and a full rich past. Would highly recommend especially if you are looking for a quiet escape. I will look forward to my next stay!

The pillows where fluffy and excellent and the super king bed was great ,enjoyed seeing and reading the history of the original building. The staff where super friendly and the location of the Grand Mecure Basildene Manor was close to all in the city heart.

As you enter the stately driveway surrounded by lush gardens, the first impression is stunning - so you know you are in for a special stay at Basildene Manor. The friendly reception team are very knowledgable in terms of recommending which cafes, restaurants, wineries and beaches to have on your short list (an otherwise overwhelming process given the exceptional beauty of Margaret River and surrounding areas). Becky in particular was incredibly helpful in this regard. The accommodation is both spacious and exceptionally clean and well maintained. While the nightly rate may first seem a fraction high, given all that is on offer, including continental breakfasts & afternoon teas and cake, you’ll soon find it is exceptionally good value.

What a lovely surprise this place was / if you are a bit over generic hotels and like something with some thought put into it - you will love this place. We stayed in Semillon room with lovely green hues and giant bathtub big enough for both of us. Very classic/classy room and a good size too. Grounds were beautiful and it was lovely to have a BBQ by the lake one night with all utensils provided by the manor. Afternoon cake and coffee were greatly appreciated if we were not out. Tips of places to go were given by staff and bookings made if needed were also appreciated.
