Nice room (Room 10). Clean, nice bath & comfy bed.
Great food choice and breakfast was good. Nice bar facilities, overall very good and likely to be back

Early Christmas get together with the guys from the office. Christmas menu - 3 courses for less than £25. Food was lovely. Service excellent and waiting staff friendly and obliging. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Such a lovely friendly family oriented atmosphere and dogs welcome too. On a winters evening with the lights and fires lit it was great.

Comfort and value for money
Lovely room, made welcome on our arrival. Excellent nights sleep as bed was very comfortable. Breakfast next morning was cheap and very nice. Will definitely stay here again.

Good for the price
Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms a bit tired but adequate. Would be noisy on a music night. Earplugs provided.

Short stay.
We had a great break at the ye old griffin Pub,the staff were reall nice and was willing to help in any way,the food was good ,we had dinner and breakfast the staff were really polite and helpful ,we couldn’t fined any faults with our stay there and we would certainly recommend it to any one ,in town and very convenient.Hotel was clean and tidy every where.

Lovely friendly public house.
It was very welcoming from front door to reception
As for receptionist she was amazing giving us a tour and historical insight to the building. Explaining everything from car park pass to breakfast options and evening meals . Food was cooked to perfection we opted for the carvery witch was fantastic.
The selection of bar drinks where plentiful.
Our room are very clean and very comfortable with every thing you would need , plus if in need they have a night porter at your request .

Home from home, comfy stay.
My heart sank when I checked in and was told there would be a disco from 10pm to 1am, it was a Friday night so really what could I expect. From my room I could actually hear very little and the bed was really comfy so I slept like a log. Very impressed overall, great stay.
