Excellent place to stay in a very attractive small city in middle Germany. The hosts are wonderfully friendly and kind and made us feel very welcome. The place is cosy and welcoming - there was a log fire in the reception area and you could sit down there to write postcards. Breakfast was very good and our hostess offered to wrap fruit and rolls too for lunch if we wished. We'd definitely return.

Auf Radtouristen ist das Hotel nicht ausgelegt. Mein Fahrrad wurde eher behelfsmäßig im (abgeschlossenen) Hinterhof abgestellt. Wenn man mit dem Fahrrad ankommt muss man es erstmal extern anschließen um überhaupt zur Rezeption gehen zu können. Es ist ein recht historisches Haus mit entsprechender Einrichtung, das gefällt mir sehr gut in dem öffentlichen Bereichen, nicht so gut auf dem Zimmer. Die Dusche war etwas eng. Allerdings Sauber, gute zentrale Lage, Nachts war es in meinem Zimmer trotzdem leise, freundliches Personal und ein gutes Frühstück.

Diesmal gab es für uns nur ein recht kleines Zimmer, mit einem noch kleineren Bad. Das Frühstück war normal, der Aufschnitt knapp bemessen, man hätte sicher noch nachordern können. Wir hatten die Möglichkeit gegenüber des Hotels einen Parkplatz für 10€ pro Tag nutzen zu können. Die Preise wurden etwas erhöht, zu verstehen, durch das kleinere Zimmer passte das Preisleistungsverhältnis leider nicht mehr so richtig.
