Harbor Light Inn

We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon and it was fantastic. Adorable, comfortable, in a great walkable town. The staff was all very kind and accommodating and also knowledgeable about the surrounding area(s). We had a few hiccups during our stay (to no one’s fault), and the staff was amazing at helping alleviate these hiccups. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip out!

I had an excellent stay! Cassandra was very helpful upon arrival and check out. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was beautiful and exactly like the pictures show on their website. If I ever have another trip in this area, I am staying here again.

I surprised my wife with a trip to Salem for her Birthday. Decided to stay at the Harbor Light Inn as it was away from the craziness that is Salem in October but close enough to easily get back and forth. We loved it. The Inn was cozy and in a perfect location. We enjoyed walking around Marblehead as much as we enjoyed going into Salem for all that Witch City has to offer. I highly recommend staying here. Beds were great and the staff was very helpful. Thanks for a great weekend!

Stayed two nights in a large second floor room at the start of a New England road trip. Things got off to a good start when Mark texted us on landing to check on our progress and to warn us of road works in and around Logan airport. He was there to greet us and to help with our luggage. He then served us drinks and snacks from the lounge menu in the small bar. A real credit to the inn and a pity we didn't get the opportunity to thank him in person. Our room was large enough with a small seating area and one of the largest bathrooms we have stayed in on our many trips. It included double sinks a jetted tub and a very powerful shower. Bed was a little warm but we were tired from travelling and slept fine. Parking is in a decent sized lot behind the inn but there is room to load and offload by the side door. Breakfast was adequate but maybe lacked a hot entree. The town itself was delightful and we enjoyed a walk around the old town followed by a drive to the Neck to see the unusual lighthouse and some very fancy homes. Recommended without reservation.

My wife and I stopped in to see Marblehead on our vacation for the first time and stayed at the Harbor Light Inn for a few nights. The entire experience was perfect! Carolyn and her staff do a great job of providing a place to kick back, relax and enjoy what Marblehead has to offer. The Inn has a lot of history and the buildings were originally constructed in like 1729! The Conway family remodeled the buildings over time to create this quaint boutique Inn that is in the heart of Marblehead. This is a very quite place, so it's not for those who want a raging night life, but it is surrounded in centuries old history, good restaurants and a nice harbor. Perfect for those that like to walk around, visit shops, eat good food and see the historic sites around the small town. If you're looking for a nicely kept and privately run Inn with a relaxing vibe, this is the spot!! Thank you Carolyn, we look forward to our next visit!!

Such a wonderful place! So charming! The Inn is right on the historic walking tour of Marblehead. Minutes from a few great restaurants and cute coffee shops n other shops. The staff is amazing! Cassandra was so welcoming and sweet; she made me feel so at home. The room was perfect, with its New England charm. Apparently there are quite a few rooms but it was quiet and I only ran into a few other people at breakfast, mostly. I am so happy with my stay! I hope to Ben back one day! Thank you to all the staff who quietly work behind the scenes to make the Harbor Light Inn such a lovely place to visit!

We had a wonderful stay at the Harbor Light Inn over Labor Day weekend. The bed was extremely comfortable, breakfast was delicious, the whole inn is beautifully decorated, clean, and well cared for and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is also great as it's close to restaurants and coffee shop options and walkable to the water as well. But, we barely wanted to leave to explore because the property at the inn is so great! Would definitely recommend and hope to go back.

What a top notch location. The room was fantasticly appointed. Everything was awesome. Location was great for walking or driving around. Excellent breakfast too. Nice to have a little bar onsite. Sitting outside after a day of traveling is so relaxing

My 16-year old daughter and I spontaneously decided to go to Marblehead for a girls getaway and were lucky enough to stumble upon Harbor Light Inn during our search online. They had a 2 BR apartment available for one night that looked amazing. Well, you know how sometimes the pictures don't always match up with the real deal? In this case, the actual place far exceeded our expectations! The unit was stunning, immaculate, charming, comfortable and close to "Old Town" shops, restaurants, beaches, etc. The team at the Inn was amazing -- everyone was so kind and accommodating. The pool is gorgeous with beautiful chairs, towels, etc. -- lots of shady spots. Breakfast is not included if you stay in the apartment but that's fine b/c the Driftwood down the street has the best breakfast anywhere and it's right on the harbor (although the Inn's breakfast treats were still wafting through the lobby at 2pm and smelled soooo good, so if you stay in one of the Inn rooms, I'm sure youi'll be more than happy!). The little bar in the Inn looks adorbs too....can't wait to come back with my hubby next time! (P.S. they ended up having an extra night available and so we stayed -- and couldn't have been more delighted!)
