We had an amazing 3 nights here, from arrival we were welcomed, looked after and cared for brilliantly by the team - Lauren especially and Hannah who dealt with an incident that arose very professionally and compassionately. The food was brilliant - views spectacular and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back - thank you all

Great location, plenty of fun watching ****** get caught on the Mount Causeway. Good drinks but it's lost a bit of soul by over modernising and losing old English pub feel.

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Dedicated Parking right next to the hotel . Room was clean with a huge balcony overlooking st Michael’s mount. Excellent restaurant and reasonably priced. A great over stay.

Absolutely amazing as always. Nothing is too much trouble. They made my husbands 40th very special. They delight in good customer service, they have a beautiful spot which is a little paradisiacal and is reasonably priced. The manager Rosie and in particular Pru were both really lovely. Lauren and the domestic staff made a fuss of our little westie. We would return as many times as we could because this hotel is a pleasure to visit each and every time.

Hugely disappointed. Booked a table for 15th May 2025 @6.30pm, arrived on time and introduced myself for booking only to be told there was no booking, I told the lady that I stood there on the monday in standing in same place while the booking was entered onto their laptop asking for a window seat as it was our wedding anniversary and explained couldn't guarantee window seat but put a note on system - eventually got a table 'between' the 2 main eating areas yes a window but like being at the end of a corridor and the remains of prevous diners food under table, service was extremely slow, 30 minutes before we got a drink, 55 minutes before a starter which was poor for the price, 3 x 3/4 inch scallops with 3 seared half new potatoes and a slim piece of pak choi with some crumbs sprinkled over, probably sat under a heat lamp for 10 minutes, the other starter was a mackeral & horseradish rillette, shredded mackeral (as opposed to arillette) with dry toast and very dry so asked for some mayonnaisse or butter and the waitress returned with one small foil pack of butter which she handed to my wife . . . When plates were cleared and asked if ok I said I was not happy with the starters especially the size and quality of my starter. When main courses arrived the waitress put down Moules Mariniere for my wife but as the bowl was so full spilt the llquor over serving board and table but no offer to clean up but then asked if we wanted any sauces . . or butter (thanks for the sarcasm !) burger and chips, tiny bun for burger so not much filling and over cooked/dry chips, over 2 hours for 2 courses not a pleasant experince ! - not impressed with the poor service, overpriced and poorly presented food - shame as a wonderfully placed venue.

Positives - on a blustery bank holiday Monday. We arrived early and were greeted by a warm and friendly barman. Front of house also friendly and allowed us to take our table an hour early. We had a fantastic view, overlooking St Michael’s mount. We ordered scallops for starters and fish and chips for mains. The scallops were ok but the potatoes that accompanied them greasy so it put a slight taint on the dish The fish and chips took 40 minutes to arrive and the batter was dark brown and brittle. The children had waited so long. No one came to ask how our meal was. We left most of the chips and ate what fish we could find in the over cooked batter. The dish was dry. The minted peas were the best part. £21 for this dish feels excessive. We with dirty plates for 20 minutes, we were looked at by every member of staff and approached by none. We had to ask for the plates to be cleared. We would have refused to pay but the children wanted dessert and whilst it was obvious that the meals were left largely untouched, the fact it was not acknowledged by the person that cleared the plates meant the we thought we wouldn’t get very far. Would welcome management feedback if they want to contact us.

First return to the Godolphin under its new management, absolute delight, so welcoming, thanks to all, especially the lovely Lauren and Pru! Great room (Tolcarne) great atmosphere, great food...helped by amazing weather. Thanks all for a special visit. Just make sure there's enough Tribute next time! 😀
