We loved everything about our 'Loft' accommodation. The tasty cream tea laid out for our arrival was a lovely treat, and our hosts very friendly and welcoming. The view from the room balcony was just beautiful.... open fields with rabbits hopping around at dusk, and the odd fox sneaking about too. Very tranquil and quiet. The super king size bed was very comfortable and swathed in high quality linens, which smelled freshly washed. The kitchenette sufficed our needs, and we greatly appreciated the regular replenishment of croissants, bread, milk, juice and other breakfast items. The wet room felt very classy and the white fluffy towels along with premium shower products provided a luxury feel. Only one thing that I would have liked, but couldn't find.... paper and a pen, to be able to leave a note for when the host serviced out room, such as "only 2 croissants tomorrow please, not 4". Overall a fabulous stay. Would we recommend a stay here? YOU BET..... it's a hidden gem!!!

The severe lack of privacy. We had the ground floor "lookout" which due to the lack of blinds or curtains would be better called the "look in". The large patio doors lacked blinds or curtains meaning anyone in the adjoining fields or garden could comfortably look into the property day or night.. What I found weird was that the front door to the upstairs apartment seemed to have blinds on the window part. The beds are far too soft (personal preference) and for some reason the heating system was locked so we could not comfortably adjust the temperature in the apartment. I appreciate that this property is not an air b&b however I dont seem to understand what the owners want to class it as due to the fact they insist on servicing the apartment daily however have no set times for this and fail to inform you when they may decide to turn up at the door. The offer of fresh croissants for breakfast are delivered the afternoon or evening before (no set time for this) meaning we could be in, out, watching the tv or cooking a meal and the owners will turn up at the patio doors with a tray. When I asked for a rough time when they might be delivered they couldn't tell me and said if we were not there they would just let themselves in which I find a bit inappropriate as we have rented the accommodation. Im not sure if they hope to engage with people who stay there however sometimes people want to be left alone to enjoy their holiday and not have to worry if the owners are going to pop in at any point. I also found it annoying that the owner insisted on mowing the garden after we had arrived, surely this is something that should have been done prior to us arriving. The apartment was clean however maybe a quick hoover between the settee cushions might be an idea as there was a build up of crumbs and other bits... It's a shame to have to write this as the property itself if in a great location and seems relatively nice however this is massively overshadowed but the significant lack of privacy which ultimately ruined our stay

Modern yet cozy. Chyreen is a home away from home. Everything is new and well thought. Real King Size beds. Modern bathrooms, spacious parking at the foot of the building. But most of all a warm welcome from the owners, really interested in making us comfortable. Breakfast in the room, great views, we went for dinner in town. Great 10 min walk.

Wow, just amazing. You won't be disappointed. Such thoughtful hosts. Scones, jam and cream waiting on arrival. Milk, water and juice in the fridge. Tea bags and coffee provided. Bread, butter and croissants ready for breakfast 😊 Lovely and clean. Fresh towels in the bathroom and mini toiletries. Such a peaceful stay away from the kids. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent!
I don’t usually go out of my way to leave a review but this place was absolutely beautiful. The cream tea & breakfast were much appreciated along with the other extras. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Highly recommend. Thank you!

What a fantastic getaway, we were met upon arrival although the details for getting into the property were emailed, i missed it! When we got in, there was a welcome gift of some lovely scones and clotted cream which was just the cherry on top as the accomodation was beutifull. The sofa and chair in the seating are were so comfortable and we spenf the morning of day 2 just chilling out there with a book due to the rain, the bed was so comfortable i could have stayed in it all day. It was so much better than just a b&b due to having so much space, the included breakfast came in the form of fresh croisants which were delivered in the evening before, Bread, cereal, fruit, orange juice and yoghurt, all of which are in the property and replaced daily if used, to be honest it was more than enough and we found cereal, toast and croisants plenty. It was a short 10 min walk to get to the beach and then a few more minutes to walk across the beach/path to St Michaels mount, we also took the opportunity to walk the coast path to Penzance which was around 45 mins each way. There are plenty places to eat in Marazion, a bakery that does the obligatory cornish pasty and a couple of pubs, one of which (The Fire Engine) we ate in one night, nice pizza & beer and friendly staff. This is a great base to venture out from, close to pretty much everything you would want to see in Cornwall, thanks for a great stay.

Spacious room with a view.
We stayed in the upper room, which had a small fridge and microwave to help if you want to eat the odd meal in the room.
Bread, yoghurts, Croissants (plain and apple per person) were delivered each day for breakfast. Lots of tea, coffee etc provided.
They catered for my gluten intolerance with ease, by providing extra GF breakfast items for me.
