Great location, great place, friendly, responsive staff. Been here before and the room was great with a great view at that time. This time not so much. We get what they call a "studio", and it is not what you would expect in a "studio", it is nothing but a nice size hotel room, this was with a "great" view of an unkept grounds, a wooden fence and a plastic shed. Normally when a person thinks of a studio a small place with maybe a kitchen comes to mind not a typical hotel room. So..... the description is misleading to say the least, but as I was explained by the absolutely unfriendly and useless supervision at the corporate level, it was my fault for not looking closer and verifying that what is called a studio is nothing but a hotel room. So again, the place is great the staff is helpful at the local level. Verify what you want so you don't assume a studio is actually a small usable apartment and don't call the useless corporate stuff to try to resolve it because you will get the DEI hire "supervisor" after about 45 minutes on hold to tell you it is your fault, and they will do nothing to try and resolve it. BlueGreen I expected better.

This place is terrible. My wife and have been staying @ the Hammocks once or twice a year for about 6 years. This place used to be beautiful and clean. Today is May 14, 2025, we checked in this afternoon for 3 nights. Tomorrow, I will look for a different place to stay. This place is filthy, and unexceptable.

Definitely enjoying our stay. Checked in early and had to wait for our room. They took good care of us while we waited. Pool is nice and facilities clean. Don’t know how anyone could not be happy here. Wish it wasn’t so far away. The restaurant behind it had good food. Bought hamburgers last night and they were huge. Took Marathon Mermaid sunset cruise right here. It was very enjoyable.

The accomodatuons were absolutelly beautiful. The resort is well located on the Gulf. The staff is very experienced and friendly .

Getting to the hotel was fun and they allowed me to being my jet skis to go out o the water. The customer service was on par and did not disappoint. For a cheap hotel in the keys you can't miss out on this opportunity. Would be a shame to miss out the hotel rooms aren't the absolute best but they work.

The resort is beautiful and they really keep it clean and nice. Rooms are excellent and location is perfect. With the exception of a lousy bartender at the tiki bar, I would have given this a 5 star review. She made all around us uncomfortable and seemed miserable. Maybe it’s time for her to retire.

Just came back. What a great location and the views. Can't be beat. I would highly recomen the is place. 1 hour away to key west. and so many locations to see. the food is great in the area too.

First time here. The room was what we expected being Bluegreen owners. Everything we needed was there, just had to go shopping to get the food we wanted. The pool was heavily chlorinated but a descent size pool. We ate at Barnacle Barney’s one night for dinner and it was good. The bartender ran out of ice so no frozen drinks. Did the sunset cruise with Mermaid Charters and it was absolutely beautiful. Dorthy who works overnight needs some customer service training, she was very rude and didn’t know how to address issues. Who really saved the day and needs a raise is Dalyi. She is all about customer service and going above and beyond for the guest. I have worked for Marriott for over 23 years and I wish I had Dalyi at all my hotels. She really cares about taking care of the guest and comes up with creative ways to say yes. She brightens your day as soon as you see her. Full of smiles and suggestions. Do what you need to maintain her employment. She is someone you want to train to get into management.

This was our second trip to The Hammocks in Marathon. Such great weather, pool, tiki bar were awesome. Our room was clean and had all amenities we needed. We spent time relaxing and meeting new friends! Went fishing, snorkeling and swimming. One of our favorite resorts!
