Mara Bush Camp - Private Wing

When booking, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect — sleeping in tents in the heart of the Maasai Mara! But this experience far exceeded anything I could have imagined. It was absolutely incredible — and I had the best sleep of my life. The tents are thoughtfully positioned along the river, with hippos as our gentle, calming neighbors. The ambiance was surreal. The service was exceptional — attentive, warm, and truly top-tier. Every meal was beautifully conceptualized and flawlessly executed. In fact, I was so impressed that I asked for a cooking demo, and Joseph seamlessly arranged a locally inspired cooking class with the chef. Joseph and his entire team — Prisca, Stacy, Pose, Professor Chef, and so many others — created a truly memorable experience. And of course, a special thank you to Nicholas, our guide and driver, who made it all possible. We visited in July during the Great Migration — a breathtaking spectacle and a once-in-a-lifetime experience I’ll never forget.

Soroi Private Wing is a true gem hidden in the bushes along the bank of river Olare Orok. The moment you arrive you enter to the world of hippos and land of lions, leopards and cheetahs, elephants, zebras, buffalos and ather wildlife in an endless beaufiful savanna landscape. It is an amazing place. Our special thanks to Joseph, our very experienced and knowledgeable Guide, who spared no effort to make us see and learn a lot about the habitats and behaviour of the wild animals and explore how savanna ecosystem works. A lioness roaring like a thunder in a few meters from us was magical, just to mention one of such rare sights. Many thanks also to Joseph, the Manager and to all his team for making our stay very pleasant. We will be back soon!
