Outdated hotel, but okay for small northern cities, but would be unacceptable in Shanghai or Chengdu by their standards. Decor reminds me of something from the Soviet Union in 1989.... that old Russian-Soviet style. The shower had no drain, the drain was on the opposite side of the bathroom under the sink, so it was like a lake after showering..... Staff is friendly, but don't expect more. If you are Russian, they will hold your passport overnight. Other nationalities, they won't hold their passports with valid visas.
