Overnight stay on way to or from the port
Second time we have stayed here it’s a great place to stay on route to and from the port.check in easy parking great. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Parador is outside of town so do need to drive in. Parking in town is limited. Definitely visit the cheese museum. Castle bar is fun but reservations required. Lovely walks along the town paseo and out into the fields. Parador is definitely a good overnight rest stop. Restaurant is a bit impersonal but the bar food and ambiance are good.

Esperábamos un Parador más tipo "hotel" y la verdad que tiene un encanto especial este Parador. Además, el trato recibido tanto por el personal de Recepción como por el personal del Restaurante es magnífico. Habitaciones amplias, baños amplios y un servicio de 10. Muy recomendable para una escapada de finde a La Mancha.

Como bastantes paradores, este establecimiento se está quedando anticuado en sus instalaciones. Cualquier otro hotel que estuviera a 100 m de la autovía habría puesto mejores cierres de ventanas para evitar el ruido. Eso fue lo que más penalizó el descanso nocturno. También me sorprendió negativamente que dijeran que tienen cargador para coches eléctricos, cuando se trata de un simple enchufe de pared en una cochera antigua donde no cabe un coche medianamente ancho. En fin, no es un lugar al que volvería. Eso sí, la atención del personal fue impecable.
