OUTSTANDING SERVICE. We stayed only one night but wish we could have stayed more. We will be back to stay longer next time. The wonderful staff met us and lead us to watch a beautiful sunset and see monkeys just off the balcony. Once checked in our room was quaint and comfortable. Our family took dinner in the restaurant which is a unique and excellent Korean barbeque. The location is near the national park which but we saw more diverse species at Mango Moon Villa while we relaxed in the pool and on the balconies. What a wonderful family owned business.

Ich kann die vielen guten Bewertungen, aufgrund derer wir das Hotel ausgesucht hatten, nicht wirklich nachvollziehen. Es ist absolut nicht angenehm, wenn man jedes Mal (z.B. in Badehose) durch das Restaurant gehen muss, um sein Zimmer zu erreichen. Einen anderen Zugang gab es nicht. Zudem sitzen Restaurant-Gäste praktisch direkt vor der Zimmertür zum Essen, so dass man den Vorhang schließen muss, dann aber auch die Aussicht auf die Bucht nicht mehr hat! Auch der Pool befindet sich unter dem ständigen Blick der Restaurant-Gäste, so dass man sich beobachtet fühlt. Sehr seltsam fanden wir, dass Getränke an der Bar einzeln abkassiert und sofort bezahlt werden mussten, wie man es sonst nur aus überfüllten Studentenkneipen kennt. Hier scheint man kein Vertrauen in seine Gäste zu haben. Das Frühstück war doppelt so teuer wie in allen anderen Unterkünften, die wir während der Reise hatten und das WLAN funktionierte nicht im Zimmer, ebenso wenig wie der Fernseher (kein Empfang).

Este hotel nos ha enamorado. Es pequeño y con encanto. Todas las habitaciones tienen terraza con vistas espectaculares al mar, al igual que la piscina. Esta rodeado de naturaleza, vimos guacamayos, tucanes y sobre todo monos, que vienen a comer del arbol de mangos. A los niños les encantó. Por otro lado, esta cerca del supermercado, las tiendas y restaurantes. Tambien estaba, a un paseo de 20 min. la playa Biesanz, aunque mejor ir en coche si no se está en forma. Para ir al PN Manuel Antonio hay una parada de bus a unos metros, junto a la carretera principal. Super recomendable el restaurante coreano del hotel y el personal del restaurante, muy amables y profesionales.

We traveled to Costa Rica last week as a family and mango moon made the trip one of the best we have ever had. The owner and staff made us feel as though we were family and spent quality time with all the guest throughout the week we were there. I give the restaurant and bar five stars for both food and drinks. Our room had the best view which included the ocean and the rainforest with a sunset each night. The staff would also set up transportation both to and from any destination, we wanted to ensure we made it back to the hotel safely. I wish I knew all the staff’s names, but Liliana and Jorge were awesome as well as the two staff at breakfast. If you want to see wildlife, this is the place to stay. Each day we had a monkey, bird, and sloth show from our balconies. I have nothing but good to report about the mango moon. Sincerly Troy

The vibe was laid-back and relaxing. We had a larger room for our family of 5 which included a spacious balcony. We saw numerous monkeys (3 different types!) and macaws and had a breathtaking view of the Pacific. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was warm and friendly. I would love to return!

Cute hotel Friendly staff Beautiful view, good food Loved the wildlife that comes to this hotel sometimes Bed is very uncomfortable Bathroom needs update, no where to set your toiletries Toilet needs updating kept running I kept adjusting it to not waste water Pools need a little resurfacing A/C workers great Nice TV so you can login to stream if you have accounts Not easily as walk able as I hoped it would be, streets are steep, no sidewalk and lots of fast cars! So you will taxi a lot ( no Uber's) Taxi is $10 per ride on average even to the beach The room I had did not have a private balcony as it appeared in the photos it is a walkway ( but beautiful view) The door to your room is a sliding glass door Without a door knob, meaning you had to have the key in the lock when in there in case of an emergency and you wanted out of your room but you wanted the door locked for safety.....so it was weird But cute hotel

This is a great place, and keep in mind it's a 3-star so it's not going to be perfect and posh. The view is amazing, the pool area is beautiful. It has a cool, kind of boho vibe. We saw more animals from our balcony than anywhere in Costa Rica! The rooms are clean and lovely, but again don't expect luxury and flawless.

Torn here, great view, beautiful spot with many monkeys. Initial reservation was for two rooms w three single beds and 1 double. We got 1 double, 1 queen. They needed to reorganize the furniture when we got there. In addition, some interior issues in rooms, like trip hazards in the bathroom, no cover on window in kids bathroom, cheese was spoiled in omlettes... it has a wonderful pool & adjacent to a lot.
