Temple View Lodge

After stays in national chain hotels this little mom and pop motel was a wonderful change. We very much enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable; I slept better there than in the last big chain hotel the night before and didn’t have to throw nearly as many pillows off the bed just to sleep. We did have to slam the door hard to make sure it was latched but found that part of the charm and delightfulness of the place. Perhaps it reminded me of many pleasant memories traveling with my family in the 60s when these motels were ubiquitous and adventurous. It just has a restful and peaceful feel. Hard to explain. We met the young family managing the property and enjoyed learning about the history and their excitement in the changes coming with new owners. We look forward to staying there again when we are in Manti.

After spending nights in national chain hotels we really enjoyed this vintage, friendly mom and pop type motel. It was clean and comfortable and it has a good feel to it - if that makes sense. Perhaps it brought back memories of traveling with my family when I was young and these motels were ubiquitous and adventurous. The Temple View Lodge has been around for a while and we had to slam the door pretty hard to get it to latch, but to us that was part of the charm. I slept better there than the national chain place the night before and I didn’t have to throw as many pillows off the bed just to sleep. I enjoyed talking with the young family managers about the improvements coming with new owners and look forward to staying there next time we come to Manti. It’s clean comfortable and a good price.

Nice cozy, friendly place to stay.

I don’t know where to start. Sadly, there are very few choices of hotels in Manti. I chose this hotel to accommodate my daughter and her husband. After a long day of travel and a viewing for my mother , her grandmother. they went to check in to the room around 11:00 PM they found very dirty beds with hair in it and other un identifiable things in the bed. The mattress looks like it has a blood stain on it. There is nobody to contact at 11 o’clock at night. So thankfully, we had an alternative place for them to stay. Unfortunately, they will have to sleep on the floor, but that is better than sleeping in the filthy hotel room that was supposed to be a place for them to rest the night before my daughter goes to her grandmothers funeral. In addition, since I have stayed here before it is outdated and the beds are hard and I would never recommend staying here but sometimes you don’t have a choice because there are no other options in manti, but if I were you, I would sleep anywhere, but here please take this into consideration before staying in this hotel. I am also very suspicious of all the other positive reviews as I have stayed here in the past, and it has never been great.
