The Lodge Lake Chelan

This is a somewhat new hotel near downtown Mason, walking distance to several wineries and restaurants and bars. The room was quite spacious and bed was very comfy. Breakfast in the morning is free but pretty much non-existent, there are no hot options. Would stay again simply of the proximity to downtown Mason.

Comfortable bed! The pool is actually the warmest hot tub I’ve ever experienced! Amazing on such a cool October night. The property is also only a few years old and has free parking. We were able to walk to local wineries and restaurants nearby.

Awesome place to stay when downtown Chelan is overbooked and stupid expensive. We did pay $800+ for two nights here in July, but this is a good deal compared to downtown. I loved the contactless check in with a keycode for our room. Easy. Great little pool we didn't use. Big rooms with plenty of space for four people. We liked logged into netflix on the big screen to watch a movie in bed. Nice little basic breakfast for our kiddos. Not very much parking, but we could find a space by the grass. The only con was the stair noise was loud and woke me up in the morning. But the AC and ceiling fan was good white noise!

Calling this place a "Boutique" hotel is like calling a Chevy Equinox a "Luxury SUV." It is most like a Comfort Inn. The room smelled strongly of mildew. The mattresses were saggy. Upon checking in you are given a code for your room and told that there is no night staff and the front door remains unlocked. The location reminded us of a warehouse store parking lot. If you are looking for a Motel 6, quick in and out no frills experience, this is your place.

We were in Manson for a 3 night stay (Thursday check-in/Sunday check-out) and reserved a room here. It was a great choice! We were greeted by a very friendly front desk worker who got us checked in quickly and efficiently. Our room was on the ground floor and was a 2 queen bed room. It was a really nice size. If fit 3 of us comfortably. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of pillows. The bathroom was a good size. The rain shower head was really nice. Everything was very clean. Big TV with lots of channels available. It was very quiet throughout - until night 3 when there were heavy walkers in the room above us, but it still wasn't that bad. The location is off the main road enough to not be bothered by noise, but close enough to easily walk to restaurants, parks, etc. If you're looking for a place with a full breakfast option, this isn't the place for you. The continental breakfast was only open on the weekend, and only consisted of a few small grab and go things. But with a market nearby and a fridge/microwave in the room, it's easy to buy whatever breakfast foods you might want and warm them up yourself in your room. One weird thing we found was the smell of the room when we walked in. It was quite off putting. We did get used to it, but could smell it each time we walked in for the first 2 days. Not sure if it was from cleaning supplies, or what. Overall, if ever in Manson again, we'd stay here again without hesitating.

Travel as a family to attend a wedding. Pleasently greeted by the friendly receptionist who kindly accomodated my request for a lower floor room. My 2 and 6 year enjoyed the decent size pool and vending machine. As a parent I appreciate the large room and extra sink next to the refrigerator. The bathroom was spacious enough to handle bath time. Overall the clean, new and modern room is impressive. Impressive enough I wrote the review during the first of my 2 night stay.

From the outside this place is deceiving. I didn't think it would be as nice as it is. It is very nice inside. This is a super clean hotel. Wide halls and plenty of places for gatherings with your kids or friends. The pool is warm - bottom heater - to keep it just right. There is no elevator. If you physical limitations to taking stairs to the 2nd level, definitely book at ground level. They do have 2 ADA rooms on the first floor. Do make sure you ask for that if needed. I asked out of curiosity. Check in and room service - for the issues with staffing you may need to find a front desk person or ask for towel service. The staff knocked on the door next morning and asked if we needed towels. Like everywhere, service is an issue but the hotel staff was wonderful in meeting our every need. The room has a microwave, refrigerator, very nicely decorated and supplied - coffee maker (I don't drink coffee but if I did) is a Keurig and you are supplied with pods for coffee or tea with real mugs. The little things matter to me. They have done well on the little things. Clean water in the lobby (water jugs) so I could fill my water bottle and of course ice in the hall. We did not use the dash and go morning option, but they had decent variety. We bought food at the local grocery store and did our own thing, but definitely would have if we had thought of it first. This hotel is in a safe area. We felt very safe leaving our car overnight. The whole Manson experience was a great one for us. Would I stay here again - yes without any doubt.
