Hilton Garden Inn Mankato Downtown

I have been waiting for any kind of a response from a manager text to me that I responded to but none received. Here is my follow up: I am very disappointed in my stay. I just stopped at the front desk and was told that housekeeping is only provided when requested. I would have absolutely requested services but there is not one thing that indicates that policy. Additionally, there is a door hanger that is used when no housekeeping services are needed so why would I need to request service?Garbages are full, no towels, no coffee pods, there was no hair dryer (one was brought to the room when requested), missing body wash bottle in the shower. I had higher expectations for Hilton.

I picked it as I thought there was a restaurant to get dinner and breakfast the following morning, but it was closed for renovations. That is my only complaint. Everything else was wonderful.

This is a way overpriced hotel. Decor is outdated. The building looks old. The staff didn’t answer questions. No breakfast

We loved being able to walk downtown to restaurants and events. Very nice hotel. Strange key card policy for security especially cumbersome when checking out. Weird loud car Racing downtown on Friday night made it hard to talk at outdoor patios and bars. Apparently the police and city of Mankato do not have a Noise Control law?!

I love this hotel. Close to everything and the staff is always great. The suites are Awesome! The back one 910 over looks the river and has its own private balcony. Highly recommend.

Only problem was they gave me a king room instead of the double queen i booked. They were kind and courteous and fix the problem in a timely manner. I did get my double queen room i booked

There is no continental breakfast. They had a restaurant in the lobby but it was closed and a new one was taking its place but wasn’t open yet, which was fine. However, I found out from other guests that a sandwich and juice was offered in the mornings as a breakfast at the front desk but I was never informed of this during check in. The room was clean. The beds felt as though I could have slept on the floor and had the same level of comfort, very stiff mattresses.

Lots of shops in the area. Clean room, most staff was ok. The receptionist was kinda short with me.

Was hoping for a hotel bar but still in Reno but overall stay was great
