Huge disappointment. We booked the “presidential suite” for our stay. First of all, know that if you accidentally leave hanging items in your closet when you leave, you will never see them again. We left 4 items, 3 on our own hangers in the closet. We’ve called to enquire about them twice a day, including shortly after we checked out, but were down the road, for the last 4 days. Amazingly, they vaporized. Poof, disappeared. They insisted that they trusted their staff and it’s possible the next guests found them and kept them. Case closed. On to the rest of the room: 1.) Do not walk on the carpet in socks. They will never be clean again. 2.) The pillows are flat. I mean FLAT. 3.) There are 2 TVs, but only 1 remote. 4.) The sheets have seen better days. The fitted sheet had no stretch left and kept pulling up at the corners. 4.) the comforter was a wrinkled mess when we arrived. 5.) the ice bucket lid had no knob and did’t fit the bucket. 6.) The sofa in the room has been there awhile. It is neither clean, nor comfortable. From what we gathered from phone conversations, housekeeping may, or may not, open the closet doors while cleaning. The room, the “presidential suite” should be one of their best rooms, so I shudder to think what a regular room is like. In conclusion, we are Hilton Honors Diamond members. We have stayed in many Hilton properties. I would highly discourage anyone from staying at this one.

I had a wonderful experience at the Hilton Garden Inn in Manhattan, Kansas. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Patricia at the front desk. She always had a smile on her face and handled a minor issue with my credit card company with professionalism and kindness, making sure everything stayed on track for a smooth resolution. I also want to highlight Alka, the bartender and waitress, who was incredibly polite and engaging. She shared a bit about her life, which made me feel like I was chatting with an old friend rather than just a guest. Her warmth truly made my stay feel more personal. While every staff member I encountered was courteous and professional, Patricia and Alka stood out and left a lasting impression. I look forward to staying here again.
