This was my second visit to the hotel. While the property and rooms are quite good, the service and staff behavior left me highly disappointed—again. Despite informing the hotel in advance about my morning arrival by my HR, I was made to wait until 12 PM for check-in. After a tiring train journey, I arrived hoping for at least a refreshment room or a polite behavior, but instead, I was met with extremely rude behavior from the front office staff. Regardless of policies, there is always a courteous and professional way to communicate with guests. Unfortunately, that was completely lacking. I had to wait in the lobby for over an hour without even being offered a basic courtesy. Eventually, I left the hotel without checking in. I’ve stayed in many star hotels across Mangalore and other cities, and this is the first time I felt like I was being treated as if I was staying for free. The management seriously needs to train their staff in basic hospitality and guest handling. Good rooms alone don't make a hotel worth staying in—respect and service matter just as much

AJ Grand is a good place to stay if you are in Mangalore. The hotel is located centrally in the prime city and convenient to travel to offices across. Food is decent and the staff is very friendly. Its a new property and that adds to the wow factor

Stay was overall pleasant. Room was very clean. We had food from veg restaurant and it was very good. We were travelling to Kerala and took hault here, and location wise it was convenient for us.

1. Center of city was a plus point.
2. Very neat. Looks like it was newly renovated hotel.
3. Had 3 restaurant depends on veg / nonveg preference.
4. Food in their restaurant was very nice.

2 restaurants are there, one for specifically Veg.Veg restaurant good one .
location wise good as it is in the center easily can get autos to all places.
overall Nice stay.
I will recommend it to the one who is looking for a quality stay.

It is centrally located so very convenient
It has a good ambience with a sense of space.
Food is very tastee and the complementary breakfast has many choices.
The coffee shop is an added convenience with good choice of snacks.
Rooms and bathrooms are elegantly done up and well maintained.
The staff is courteous and helpful.
On the whole my experience was good and have no hesitation to recommend this hotel to other potential guests..
