This is the second time i chose Karuna Residency for our stay in Mangalore. The reception staffs behaviour were appreciative. As per their check-in time is 11 AM to 11 AM, but i called them when i landed in Mangalore and they allowed me to check in earlier and reschedule their time format to 10 AM to 10 AM. That helped us very much to take rest as we were really tired due to the long journey.
Overall the room was good. The lights, fans, AC, Shower was working well.
But there was stains in one bedsheet and mattress. That made us disgusting.
And we didn't use that bed and laid on another bed.
And there is no security as it's kinda open complex building. There were local creepy strangers who were looking us weirdly. And also anybody can access to the hotel without any checking or security.
Please appoint a Security for the safe of the safety of guests!
NB: Please make sure you are giving the top-most care to the guest. So make sure that you are providing clean and tidy things for your guest!

The daily tariff they say it varies from day to day. I booked a room for my colleague ***** with mine. Though his tariff is higher, he was denied the complimentary free breakfast, the reason they mention is, we have to opt for it. If its complimentary & free why any one should opt for it ?
the quality of complimentary breakfast was just bad, tasteless & i have to munch some sand in the idlis served.

Stay was good, rooms are clean as and well maintainedbut parking is bit inconvenient and not kept tissues in toilet. Tv and ac are working good. Hotel is next to city center mall and opposite to ideal cafe restaurant so walkable and we enjoyed our stay in karuna

Wash basin in bathroom was blocked, water was draining drop by drop only. Desipe complaining two times, the karuna residency could not solve it.

The stay was very pleasant. Also breakfast was authentic south indian. Rooms were cosy with good washroom condition too.

Location was good. Everything except that was bad. We got a smaller room alloted. There was literally no space to even open a cabin bag. Even after multiple requests we weren't given a bigger room. Bathroom had cockroaches. Mattress was bad. Felt like sleeping directly on the spring. Definitely not value for the expensive rates.
