Aphrodite Sands Resort

Loved Aphrodite Sands! Was perfect for us as a family. Felt very safe, Peter and Angeliki who run the apartments are extremely helpful and helped with discounts on trips and any queries. The apartments themselves have separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which is amazing when you have kids. There’s a fridge freezer, cooker, microwave, toaster, iron, hairdryer washing machine just about everything you could need. The pool is lovely perfect for relaxing and the cats that wander around are very friendly. There is a big supermarket nearby you would need to hire a car to reach this, Peter arranged us a car and was well worth having. We would recommend a visit to coral bay and the gorge, the water park was lots of fun very well kept and well run. The village is a short walk and has a mini market all the restaurants are really good all well maintained and run. We had an amazing holiday here could not fault it, we will be back! We all fell in love with an old fluffy cat and named her Ivy, if you visit here please check on her for us!

Excellent apartments in a great location a few mins walk to the village with great restraunts Very clean large open living space with excellent showers and loads of hot water. Value you for money we had a 3 bed 3 bathroom apartment loads of room, easy to follow instructions to get in, we arrived late at night and had no problem at all. Would defently book again .

A lovely quiet and pretty location, despite being only 10 mins from the airport. It should cost about €30/35 euros to get from the airport to the apartments in a taxi. Spacious and comfortable apartments, basic style but very clean. Washing machine in apartment and excellent air conditioning. Huge private terrace over looking the pool which is lovely. The terraces have a table and chairs and ours also had 2 loungers and an airer for drying washing which everybody seems to use. People don’t drape towels over the balcony’s, so it’s a pretty place to sit! The outside pool area is lovely. The apartments are very attractive. Nice padded sun loungers, there are a few which are not quite so nice but mostly good and there are plenty. Cleaners prepare the area every morning, gardens kept nicely. It’s a quiet resort, no music, very relaxed and very nice guests when we were there. 5 minute walk to 5 restaurants in Mandria, our favourite was The Tavern, excellent Thai food. Also little supermarket which has everything you need. Walk to Mandria beach 20 minutes, beautiful sunsets and rustic very friendly bar. Nice loungers, parasols and new clean facilities. Taxi to Paphos is €30/35 euros. Now the best bit…..Peter and Angela, the resort hosts. You couldn’t meet a lovelier Cypriot couple. They are the most welcoming and genuinely good people. They greeted us by name when we arrived and welcomed us like family. They are the cherry on the top of Aphrodite Sands. Also Christos, who looks after the pool and maintenance, a genuinely lovely man. Having been into Paphos to visit friends at their hotel, I was very pleased to get back to Aphrodite sands, it was not comparable! Peaceful and calm. I would certainly go back.
