The staff and restaurant were extremely good, a very well organised and clean place for a holiday with the family. The food was exceptional with good quality ingredients. We had specially asked for lobster which was organised fresh from the sea and served to us at lunch. The housekeeping staff was very sweet and warm. Hope to visit again soon.

We stayed in one of the beach front cottages. Lovely stay. Staff and food in the restaurant were excellent. The location is quiet. The accommodation was spacious (we had a third bed made up and plenty of space) and a lovely balcony with a hammock.

A disappointing stay in a fantastic location. The beach is clean, L'Atelier restaurant good, if over-priced, and the staff are charming and friendly. Where the retreat falls down is in the poor infrastructure. My shabby bungalow with its cruddy paintwork had seen better days: the mattress was old and indented by previous guests; the shower scuzzy, the bath mat worn and unclean; the cheap, murky toilet looked like something one would find in the slums of New Delhi; hot water sparse. Scant investment has been made in this resort since it opened some 15 years ago. Yet it is charging up to 40,000 INR more per week than a five-star hotel down the coast. The Anahata beach front Resort Ashwem cannot rest on its laurels of former glory.

The location is great , food was delicious, but there wifi dont work at all , showers wont work properly and definitely not worth the price we paid for, there are lot better option in this range , onky if u looking for a great location on the beach , you can opt for this hotel

Beautiful setting right off the beach. The staff were absolutely lovely, and the breakfast included in the price outstanding - so much variety! The free morning yoga on a platform, overlooking the sea, was such a bonus. Only downside was our room, which looked a little tired and required a little attention to detail like the inclusion of a shelf to put toiletries in the shower area. Definitely needs sprucing up.
