The hotel was horrible, with no maintenance of the property at all, was very poorly managed with an incompetent manager and equally callous senior management who play the blame game against each other, and inadequate staff strength with no proper training given to them. It was an extremely pathetic experience for me which ruined my holiday totally. The hotel head office miscommunicated right from the time of booking. The lady, whose number was mentioned in the booking receipt had miscommunicated about the power backup facility. Please don't trust her words she doesn't have any clue about the facilities available at the hotel. In listing the hotel claims to have a bar, whereas no bar could be seen in my visit, rather they have put up a board of alcohol consumption is prohibited. The entire listing of this hotel (pictures power back-up, on-call doctor, bar etc) is a farce and please don't believe it. What i came to know from local people that this hotel was closed till nov'22, right from the time of lockdown in 2020 and has just opened without being prepared to host guests. Though people generally write pros and cons, but unfortunately i will have to reverse the order for this hotel in my review based on my horrible experience. Cons: 1. No power back-up with very frequent power cuts all throughout the day. Guests will be given candles to spend the entire evening sitting in the dark. 2. No supervision from the senior management 3. Incomplete manager at the hotel who puts all the blame on the ho and doesn't look after anything 4. No fencing or boundary walls around the property, despite this being right adjacent to the forest in the buffer zone 5. No security, police comes in at night, hotel authority wakes the guests up for the id verification which they should have taken at the time of check-in. 6. The hotel is in ruins, rooms and bathrooms are filthy, bathroom fittings are broken, rats come through bathroom drains and the manager is aware of it and still have not fixed anything. Furnitures are broken, doors are without locks in some rooms, walls are cracked, the main entrance of the hotel is broken which doesn't even indicate a hotel is there inside, no running hot water 24x7 (they have a primitive wooden fired geyser which has to be run manually. 7. Service is not very prompt and accurate pros: 1. Staff are very warm and welcoming 2. Location is really good, right at the bank of banjar river 3. Food was decent i will definitely not recommend this hotel to families, couples or even to solo travellers. Bachelors in groups can still take a chance. However, in my opinion, it would still be better to postpone your kanha trip than staying in this horrible hotel.

Except staffs behavior and the location of the property, there is nothing you'd find that will make you to stay there. Cottages looks good from the outside. Inside there is pungy smell. Room freshener lessened it. No power back up. No intercom to contact housekeeping or kitchen or front desk. No television. Furnitures are average. Spider webs all around the ceiling of the room. For food - ordered for tea at around 8 am. It took over 30 mins. Lunch was served around 5 pm. Dinner was served on time as we ordered it during the lunch time. For the prices we paid. No one would expect this experience. Good luck for the visitors.

The resort's condition has deteriorated due to a lack of maintenance over a long period of time; the location is excellent, but the rooms are extremely dangerous to stay at night, with damps on every wall and the roof being covered with plastic and rope due to cracks all over.

Never suggesting anyone to go. Don’t believe in the photos of the property which they send before booking. Worst experience ever in kanha. Different rates to different persons for the same set of dates
