Facilities: Complete, standard international brand five-star hotel. I heard from friends that it was previously managed by Pullman.
Hygiene: Up to standard, clean, no odor.
Environment: Good location, good security, commercial area at the door, convenient for shopping.

Huge and modern rooms, but not as much understanding from the staff as you would expect from such a decent hotel. We arrived at 6am and asked to postpone breakfast until the next day, as we were leaving early too. They couldn't arrange such liberty for us, but they took a food set with us to the airport.

The five-star hotel in Mandalay is in very good condition. It is next to the Chinese Embassy, in a quiet location and relatively new. The breakfast is very good. It is definitely the best place to stay in Mandalay
