Manchester West Didsbury

Hotel was ok, little run down and not very clean. Ideal location for didsbury.

We booked 3 rooms for a Saturday here as we were visiting family in Chorlton. We arrived just after 11 and asked if we could have an early check in. The young girl on Reception was friendly, smiley and helpful and checked if a room was ready. It was an extra £15 per room for early check in and she suggested just checking into one room to save us £30 and offered to store the luggage for the other 2 rooms. After catching up with our family we returned and had a couple of drinks in the bar, again the staff were friendly and polite. We had a great nights sleep as we always do in a PI and the shower was fantastic. The room had all we needed and a little bonus was a little tin of cookies with a note, which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was great, nobody rushed us and there was a great selection of food as always. We would definitely recommend staying here and we will return on our next visit up North to see the family!

Noisy, stuffy, staff didn't ask if we were ok, or how our stay was. I didn't sleep well. Restaurant was under staffed at breakfast, so tables weren't cleared. I wouldn't recommend it to light sleepers. Satisfactory at best. Ok for one night. I was suitably unimpressed.

Just a great hotel for anyone needing a room for a night or two that has a desk / table on which to use a laptop and / or write information, and with a comfortable bed this Premier Inn is just the ticket. I have stayed here for 4 times in 2024 and the one thing I will single out is the front of house staff who always have a smile or a hello. It's a little gesture I know, but I've always found this to be a warm welcome.

Clean, warm, staff were really helpful. Shame the restaurant was closed for most of our stay (the website when booking said breakfast would be in a different room but this turned out not to be the case). The breakfast when we got it was really good. Special mention to Paulina who really helped us when we needed a late check out. Thanks so much Paulina, you are a star.

Check in was quick, efficient & friendly but unfortunately when we entered the room we could smell cigarette smoke which was horrible. The actual room looked dirty, felt dirty & was dirty. It looked unloved & worn out. Noise from other guests went on throughout the early hours which killed any sleep & for £93 for the privilege we left seriously unimpressed. Needless to say we will not be returning. Didn’t risk the restaurant after reading previous reviews. Premier Inn need to invest in upgrading these poor value for money bargain basement hotels.
